Had a case where the 1099 from Treasury Direct, when printed in portrait mode, did not show all interest income--missed several thousands of dollars. TT should have raised a red flag when comparing to previous year's entries. We caught it when doing a paper review prior to e-filing.
What's great about it: quick, easy, no hassle!
What's not so great: no flags when year over year differs by XX%

Don't hava farm

You really need to fix that! Nope, deleting the form did not work like you suggested. It kept coming up and eventually I stated no on schedule F just to get the thing sent!!! Hope it does not show up next year. I don't have a FARM!
What's great about it: Been using it for a long and never had a problem until 2013
What's not so great: Kept insisting I had a farm and would not send my taxes without the farm worksheet, Schedule F.

Good But Slower Than in the Past

I have been using TT for many years and will likely continue to do so, but in the last couple of years I have noticed that the program is slower than in the past, particularly when it updates. Not sure that much can be done about it, but it is a concern.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, clear directions and easy to file the return
What's not so great: The updates take forever and it tends to freeze

After sweating over this Attorney fee deduction, I was finally able to get it off my desktop with the help of a very nice and knowlegable lady... Wish I could remember her name. But after about 20 minutes, we finally finished my problem area and I could get on with the rest of the file...

Couldn't Be Easier!!!!

A few years ago, I used a different software to do my taxes and it was soooooo frustrating. I felt like I was not even using any software and doing it manually! With TurboTax, they ask all the questions, I plug in the answers/numbers and I am done in about 20 minutes! Could be any better if I went to a tax person -- oh wait, TurboTax is my tax person!!!! Would never use, or go to, anything else!!! I am sold for life!!
What's great about it: Love this software!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

When you are done with the common things- the explainations for questions seen insufficient at times. They only barely address the issue and at times caused more confusion.
What's great about it: Quick, user friendly, automatically puts in some information.
What's not so great: Sypport- only get from other users- not sure they know any more then me.

Saved time with ensured accuracy

Easy guide through the intracacies of the US tax code. Used to be a pain to fill in all of the forms and hope one didn't miss something. Now the work is done by Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Saved Time. Nice addition of It's Deductible
What's not so great: All good

why I keep retuning to turbo tax

have used turbo tax for several years, tried another form one year, wasn't happy. came back to turbo tax.
What's great about it: fairly easy to work
What's not so great: might be a bit more informative with bonds tax, specified activity on bond
