Easy to work with. I would like to see the cents per mile more transparent for medical & charitable deductions. To find out what it is I need to google it. This should not be.

Easy Breezy

I'm a bit apprehensive about submitting my return too early because of the updates which seem to come each time I launch the program. I can't help wondering if an update, that is offered after my submittal, will impact my return and have dire repercussions.
Other than that I like TurboTax.

What's great about it: Good organization
What's not so great: Late breaking Updates.

K-1 entry is very cumbersome and not completely clear. It took much trial and error on my part to get this right.

Frustrated: Had to file by mail.

Spent hours trying to figure how to e-file. I've done it easily 3 years in the past. I need some assurance that this problem will be solved before next year or I don't want to invest in another Turbo Tax product.
What's great about it: It was a breeze until the filing
What's not so great: Hated that I couldn't e-file

At first had trouble with final e-fle. Went back and read directions like I should have in the 1st place...Went thru like a champ!
What's great about it: Every line easy to fill or explained in detail!
What's not so great: No Cons!

TurboTax 2013 Eval

Been using turbo Tax since the 1980's and always found it reliable and easy. The year-to -year recap and e-filing capability makes it extremely attractive and simple to use. Why not discount cost for repeat customers since this software application can be bought at stores for the same price or free for many on-line financial companies. Also. the extra E-filing charges for State returns seem to be excessive.
What's great about it: Quick, easy entries and wrapup
What's not so great: Deleted items (example deleted K-1 report) causes final edit errors
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
