Great except for RDP handling

I have been using Turbo Tax for over twenty years and it has really made my tax filing easy. My only gripe is the handling or RDP. Having to enter the data twice for one of us is a little painful. I just wish that this form or return was a little easier. It has gotten a little bit better over the last couple of years but still could be improved.
What's great about it: Remembers year to year and covers everything I need
This was a very valuable tool for the person who wants to do their own taxes. It is user friendly and thorough. I recommend it to everyone who does their own tax return.
What's great about it: Provide a comprehensive tour of the tax return to guarantee all tax benefits for the filer are considered.
What's not so great: Hard to move back and forth when there is a need to change a deduction.
Turbo Tax is a great way for filing without spending a lot of dollars. There is a few places I had problems with but it was probably due to my failing to keep my mind on the screen. A question is: Why put this review at the front instead the end after we know more how to critique. At this point I am ready to efile but had problems with not enough space on my hard drive and had to create more space prior to filing. Also I need to find out why I cannot get the free state filing and correct it so I will feel better with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Gave me a way to file a distribution without benefit of 1099R.
What's not so great: Took away my free efile of State after I left and returned prior to sending.
Good selection of forms and questions asked to fill them in. There was a problem with Turbo Tax when I tried to do the review on my state form; it went into an endless loop of 3 questions, that I could only get out by shutting down Turbo Tax and then reopening it.
What's great about it: Appropriate questions
What's not so great: When I went to state return, it went into an endless loop that wouldn't let me get to a review of the state form.
Was told that I had to wait to file at the beginning of march for a sales tax form that was supposed to be released December 31. I selected to be notified when it was ready and never got anything back for three weeks. I could find no option to have the program check for updates like there has been in the past. I finally forced my way through the program until I hit review and low and behold the program checked for updates and found four. After updating it finally let me finalize my return so I could file. Very frustrating experience all in all. Also when I went to print my return it printed blank pages so I ended up having to save on my backup drive as a pdf file.
I've used TurboTax exclusively to file my taxes since 1992. Unless my tax situation becomes horribly complicated, I'll continue to use it. I went through a divorce this year and all of the questions regarding what was deductible or not was availble from help and the website.
To the Intuit folks and developers - Nice job!
What's great about it: Walking through the return is a breeze!!
What's not so great: That I didn't get more back (not TurboTax's fault though)!!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
I have used turbo Tax for many years. This version works as well as ever, with only a minor glitch. Going back to earlier screens to check or adjust information wasn't as smooth as previous years. Everything worked, it just wasn't as smooth. I'll still use this product next year.
What's great about it: thorough and easy to use
What's not so great: making adjustments to entries
