Well done. Easy interface. Easy to switch back and forth between forms and step-by-step instructions. Step-by-step didn't wind up filling everything in that was needed in worksheets that is later used for e-filing and other misc processes, but it gets there easily enough at the back end while checking for errors.
Updating seemed slower this year than in years past. Still, very convenient how that is handled.
What's great about it: completeness of the process
What's not so great: hard to convince TT to efile only federal, not state.
If the next button was not at the bottom of the page or there was a way for the mouse to automatically end up in the next button this would be so easy to use. As it is it is quite cumbersome.
As long as TT continues to provide an efficient means of completing taxes, I'd say I has a long life ahead. However it seems to have too many commercials regarding buying additional products such as defense support or upgraded versions of the product.
What's great about it: Ability to choose the area rather than follow program each time
What's not so great: Emails about completing return even though investment firms have the right to supply data well into March
All and all I've used Turbo Tax from the time you guys started, and some years I paid taxes and some years I didn't plan well. Turbo Tax helped me along in this area, regardless if you asked to estimate taxes or not as a senior(s) we now al2ways estimate taxes for the following year, it saves us a lot of frustrations. I sure wish I had a program like this when I was younger . But when I was younger no one knew what a computer was, but am grateful now. Just keep on improving your program, they are great. Thank you and to all your programers and techs . Tom & Helen Simms
