2013 Tax Mission Accomplished

Over all I feel confident that Turbo Tax is the best way to file Federal Income Tax even for a retired person who has the need to itemize with the Form 1040.
This year the process seemed straight forward and easy to progress through from start to e-file.
What's great about it: Simple Easy to follow instructions
I have been using Turbo Tax since it's invention and will continue to do so for my family and a few friends. While I do have a college degree (nowhere in this friend), it is easy to use, very user friendly for novices, covers everything (did work part time for a rival company 30+ years ago, so I'm not tax blind), but Turbo Tax "kills" it's competition by a mile. Guarantees you get your max refund and from my years of using this product, I see no reason to doubt this. Keeps making improvements. Do not change anything, you have a customer for life.
What's great about it: Simple easy gudance, for pros and non-professionals
What's not so great: NONE - PLEASE don't change a thing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
I have used Turbo Tax for the last few years and feel that it is easy to use and accurate. I would recommend for anyone that has pretty basic returns to file.
What's great about it: I love that I could download the last couple of years and not have to by the box of software that I have to store
My only problem was in the items imported from ItsDeductable. The counts were the same but the values were different. I could not print the detail in Turbo Tax for my records.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
Estimated Tax payments from last year's TurboTax Deluxe used the wrong rule (100% vs 110%), resulting in underpayment penalties for both Federal and State returns this year!
What's great about it: Good Interview Process
What's not so great: Insufficient Estimated Taxes Cost Me Penalties
