Trust worthy

Even though it costs more I trust TurboTax to maximize my return. Will never buy any other tax software every again.
What's great about it: Gets all deductions available
What's not so great: More Expensive than other programs

I have used the product for about 10 years and like it. For me it is generally intutive, but there are often are new things year to year which require more time to understand what is needed.
What's great about it: Like import from previous year
What's not so great: adding Signatures when 2 are needed needs improvement

all good. . no complaints. . . I am an accountant by education and by all means anyone, with no accounting background, should be able to do their returns with Turbo Tax. . no problems

Plenty of Help

I love the way you walk me thru and guide me step by step, this is the best way for me to learn and get it done right. Please make a help phone line available for us older folks, so when we loose our way we can call for a help line.
What's great about it: You Walk Me Thru
What's not so great: Sometime I loose my place and I have not found a Number help line

It is important to gather all documents before you start but even if you do not you have plenty of time to complete.

Turbotax Seems Lazy This Year

I have been using TurboTax for years, but this may be my last. The program felt lazy, offering links to a forum search rather than providing information that it would have in the past.
I also really liked when the program pointed out parts that weren't common, but it rarely did that this year. The result was that I found myself scratching my head over stuff I hadn't even considered before, finally going out of my way to realize that this was an uncommon item.
TurboTax used to feel like a conversation with a professional that knew that you didn't know much about taxes, but this year it just laid out cryptic questions with little explanation. If I wanted to search forums for my tax questions I would have just done that rather than buying a program.
What's great about it: Interface is still mostly easy to use.
What's not so great: It seemed like the program did a lot less this year.
