AS GOOD AS IT GETS!

TurboTax is as good as tax software gets. I've been using it for almost 20 years and it continues to get better. Both the US and Massachusetts tax laws are a hot mess, but that's not TurboTax's fault. It is remarkably easy to use. Even when I'm momentarily stumpled, I find that if I just take my time and read the instructions carefully, the answer is right there. In the rare instance that I still don't know the answer, the "Ask a Question" feature always solves the problem. I've only had to use it once this tax year, and it came up with the right answer in a heartbeat. I am and have been very happy with the product.
What's great about it: Fast and easy. The easiest way to do your taxes.
What's not so great: The inevitable pitch to purchase additional product.

"The Only Way!"

Turbo Tax retains my previous many-year accounts permits filing exceptionally beneficial. This is a great advantage to me.

Almost Broke Even

This is quick and easy. I didn't get quite as good a deal this year as last year, so I wish I could have gotten 1 free state e-file. This is still a great program and I would recommend to anyone who doesn't have real technical taxes.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and quick
What's not so great: Wish they gave just 1 free state e-file

I find this software easy to understand and use. It takes much of the work out of doing taxes each year. Job well done.

I continue to use this software year to year, but why you can't get the state return data correct is beyond me.
What's great about it: Does save time with complex forms
What's not so great: You never transfer the data to state correctly

It helps you find deductions

I have used Turbo Tax for years. A couple of years I went to a couple different professionals. At least that is what they called themselves. One wouldn't listen to me about my deductions, then charged an arm and a leg to do it. So I went back to Turbo Tax.
I like that it has the step by step, that way I can do it at my own pace, and if I have to stop for some reason I can go back to where I left off an hour or a day or even a week later.
I will keep using Turbo Tax, because I think it saves you money by using it instead of paying a professional. And it helps you find deductions that you didn't realize were deductions. I guess you could say that I am a very satisfied customer.

Easy to use

I find software easy to follow. I like available explanations for items I am unsure of. Have been using for many years. Price is OK also especially compared to having an accountant do your taxes.
What's great about it: easy to load and use
What's not so great: try to sell additional products
