Easy and quick

Did 6 filings with little difficulty.
Great value.
What's great about it: Simple to use, help feature answered question too
What's not so great: Difficult to remove non-applicable items, e.g. from prior years

Turbo Tax Treat

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years and I have never had a regret. I've been able to use several of the non-usual items for filing taxes and it has made it extremely easy to use. I am also confident that I get more than enough money back. I'm careful to only claim the things that I can provide documentation for so I'm relatively certain I won't need to worry about an audit. I also find that E-filing with Turbo Tax is a real treat because it is so simple and gets my money back to me faster.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is so easy, even I could do it correct.
What's not so great: Sometimes I have to look at things I know I won't need.

BETTER THIS YEAR

OVERALL BETTER THIS YEAR. STILL SOME ISSUES AT THE END OF THE PROCESS. NOT CLEAR ON PRINTING: PRESS THE SHADED BUTTON OR CONTINUE. I DID NOT HAVE TO FORCE ANYTHING THIS YEAR. OF COURSE THAT MAY BE BECAUSE OF STUFF WAS PUT IN A TRUST AND THE TRUST HAD TO ISSUE A K-1. BUT OVERALL BETTER.
What's great about it: WHILE MY STATUS HAS CHANGED, I DID NOT HAVE TO FORCE ANYTHING
What's not so great: STILL UNCLEAR ABOUT PRINTING FOR FILING, RECORDS, ETC

A good product for the tax challenged A little hard to find things at times but was able to get answers in the online FAQ section, making it a breeze! Thanks TurboTax

user friendly - preparing taxes does require an aptitude as it has become complicated. the software does make it easier to prepare AND finalize the returns.

The screen calcs showed a different taxable income than the printout, even though the refund was the same. the screen calc did not show or indicate the Social Security Worksheet. Just wondering where it went! It was a bit confusing until I examined the SS Worksheet for the taxable income difference.
What's great about it: I've used turbotax for several years and it has been ok.
What's not so great: Difference between the screen calculations and the print out

What's great about it: Program worked well.
What's not so great: There was an issue with saying that my employer ID did not have enough digits - yet it did.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Overall, a very good product

I've used TurboTax since 2007. Each year I wonder why they don't save my answers to many of the questions they ask. They save some, yet don't save others. When I go through my return a second time, it should be to confirm answers, not repeat them.
Despite this minor inconvenience, I do find that TurboTax makes preparing my return extremely easy. I tried other tax prep software and decided that this is the best one for a small business owner.
What's great about it: Walks you through each option
What's not so great: Doesn't refresh when you've answered a question, so you have answer it multiple times.
