TurboTax 2013 Experience

Year over year improvement in the software has created a very good product. This year's version in more intuitive and easier to work through, seems like fewer pages however the pages are full of related questions making it feel like a well built software product. Seems to work very quickly, not much wait time between screens.... That tells me it 's efficiently designed over the broad range of the PCs TurboTax will be used on. Nice work!!
What's great about it: TurtoTax has been in use for several years, resulting in a very good product with enhancements from year to year.
What's not so great: Not quite usable by a novice user.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years and it has made filing income taxes a systematic and organized process.
What's great about it: step by step process makes it easy
What's not so great: Unable to correct the spelling of a charity once entered
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Lacks some explanations like the last page where it is a review and says spouse exemption should not be checked for efile, so I unchecked the box and continued. hope this was correct.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Explanation of spouse exemption not clear

Easy and Quick

I like TurboTax, but I think repeat users should get some kind of a break on purchasing year after year.
What's great about it: Easy to do.
What's not so great: Have to pay full price each year.

first year I had to use 1098-C form and Turbo Tax does not allow pdf's to attach to final tax form if e-filing. Now I have to mail forms. Also, drop-down list for Form 1098-C needs updating.
What's great about it: easy to use if not including forms
What's not so great: do not e-file if required to submit 1098's

My tax was made easy by last years use of Turbo Tax. I had no problems filing this years return.
What's great about it: All work easy to understand.
What's not so great: No problems encounterd.
