Queen of refunds

It is good to know things are being checked and double checked
What's great about it: Able to get my taxes done in my own time.
What's not so great: Nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Scared to File

For years I payed big dollars to file because I thought only tax
people that do this for a living were trained and were the only ones you could use. Turbotax showed me that I'm not stupid in this area at all and saving money is a good thing. I have saved hundreds in tax preperation by using Turbotax.

Good Program

Hey there all you Turbo Tax and would be Turbo Tax people if you won't a great Government experience. ( and who doesn't) purchase yourself next years Turbo Tax to do your taxes and feel the joy of doing it yourself and getting it correct the first time. What a great way to spend a quite afternoon with a nice drink and you and your computer.
What's great about it: Ease of operation
What's not so great: Tried serach and could not get answer that I was asking about

When I reached the point of the sales tax deduction I received a message telling me of the amount calculated but it was not transferred to the return. Received a message telling me the form was not complete and would be available by 12/30/2013.
I had not received a message telling me the updated version was ready for downloading. Upon checking the web site I found another person with the same issue. In past years I received email messages that updates were ready for downloading but no such thing happened this year.
What's not so great: Lack of distribution of newer version.

Kansas E-file glitch.

The Kansas program will not allow me to e-file because it insists an error exists in other out of state earnings. I have not found a way to correct nor delete this worksheet or error.
I try to get help, but the program will not accept my ID and Password IT SENT ME!
The program accepted my credit card payment but will not allow me to file the Kansas tax, get into help because it won't accept my old password info and will not give me a new one! I cannot find a telephone number to ask for assistance. I expect this is the last year I will purchase this product.

Easy as always

With pretty much the same income and deductions each year, TurboTax makes it easy to get my taxes done. I appreciate not tearing my hair out doing my taxes manually.
What's great about it: I don't have to interpret legalese
What's not so great: None that I can think of

Made doing my refund understandable and easy to do

It still helps to make sure you have all your ducks in a row before starting the program. But the program makes doing the actual return understandable and easy to navigate
What's great about it: Walks you through it step by step explaining every step along the way
What's not so great: I have nothing negative to say about it

I have used TurboTax for many years and I am impressed with its accuracy and ease of use. I will continue to use it until the IRS goes away.
What's great about it: Easy to download info from stock brokers and it all ends up in the right places
