Site navigation could be improved

Turbo Tax is great, but the site navigation could be improved. Suggest creating a "Review Mode", where the user could go back to any point in the interview and review all input from that point forward without having to re-input the data or answer questions that had already been answered. From any page in Review Mode, the user would always have the option of exiting Review Mode and returning to the last active page he worked on. As is, when going back to previous pages, it is like starting all over from that point and having to re-input/answer everything again, plus not being able to return to the last page worked on.
What's great about it: Have used TurboTax for years, and couldn't get along without it.
What's not so great: Ability to go back and review previous input could be improved.

Each time I went back to review,I had to enter the information again on the State form catagories.
What's not so great: You didn't have "no thanks" option on total charges page.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

What's great about it: GIVES EVERYTHING YOU NEED
What's not so great: NONE
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Couldn't find form 1099-s for sale of vacant land with out upgrading. Should be standard for all versions.
What's great about it: Easy to understand, liked the import feature for data and last years info.
What's not so great: the updates to the software were at the end of the program instead at the beginning like last year. Caused frustration.

Program asked for RMD calculation on my monthly pension income. My pension fund advised RMD requirements didn't apply to my monthly pension income. ???????????

Couldn't Be Easier

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 7 years. It gets better every year. This year I did 5 returns for myself and family. Granted, they weren't very complicated returns but they were all accomplished in 1 week's time. They walk you through every nook and cranny of the federal and state tax codes and save you from reading pages and pages of tax instructions looking for an item that allows or doesn't allow a particular deduction or qualification. I've been doing taxes for over 40 years, in the days when you did it with paper and pencil. We've come along way since then thanks to Turbo Tax.
I can't imagine ever doing taxes without it.

So Easy

So much easier than having someone that you don't know complete the information and file on your behalf. No rush, saved input as you proceeded through the process.
What's great about it: Walked me through each step...no rush
