more and more expensive

I didn't find any where on the box that e filing the state return would cost extra. Also I would like to see a recommendation for next years return as to what version of TT I need. I believe I over bought and with the state e file costing extra I know I did.
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: Expensive
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I had to get some support by phone and the support was excellent. I have used this product for years.

A real life saver

Have used several years. As a senior, this is an easy to understand program that requires minimal data entry.
Other great features are comparison with last years filings, ability to amend, electronic filing, filing for state(s) and most forms included.

It works

After 15 years of using tax programs to do both state and federal taxes, I am grateful for the fact that I no longer need to understand what I am doing. I do not know how anyone can do their taxes without this program.

What's not so great: More details about previous years

Easy to Use

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and am pleased with its easy of use and accuracy.
I like that I can move around to different places as I work on my taxes.
I like the guidance that I get along the way.
What's great about it: Ease of Use, data download from the previous year., five free Federeal filings
What's not so great: Fee to file the state return.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

love turbo tax

I'm a 25 year tax professional. While I have access to the biggest tax software packages in the world to handle my clients' returns, business and personal, I still use TT for my personal return. It doesn't over complicate my returns

I liked the 2012 version were I could update each time I started, instead of when I was finished. I just felt like I could have missed something with the update at the end. Thanks.
