Super! . . . but could be even better.

I have used TT for more than 10 years and will be back. The basic data input and handling is excellent as is the ability to maneuver around the program (from step-to-step to forms etc.).
Only "But . . . " is: I have several #>7# Master Limited Partnerships #MLPs# from the oil/gas industry and others which generate K-1's . For an MLP-K1 there is a great deal more data to deal with than just "Dividend amount" . . . and TT needs work to more clearly and precisely ask for input and/or provide clarifying notes to make sure that the data is properly handled. The information is there in the K-1 documents but I was often uncertain about where to put it. I have been doing this for several years #no neophyte# but think you can make TT PERFECT with a little effort.
What's great about it: Easy to understand, enter and maneuver
What's not so great: Needs work in dealing with some K-1 input data nomenclature
This is our 3rd TT year and we like the product. This year did not seem to have the 'chat' option to talk to a real person with questions. That feature makes TT a 'no brainer' since correct answers stand to determine how many government employees.one may meet in the future :-).
What's great about it: Systematic process to gather information and generate return.
What's not so great: Hard to get to a real person with questions.
There are 'free' and lower cost services; but I like having the 'back up expertise' that goes with TurboTax. I have used this for several years and have all intent of continuing.
What's great about it: thorough, like that it imports data, believe that we get the best possible return/refund and with NOMINAL risk of audit
What's not so great: Truthfully, I do not have any 'cons'; a good program and the cost is reasonable.
In the Review section, changes needed were hard to locate, specifically part/full year residency and missing information on one section of 1099-INTs. Help sections were hard and slow to use, specifically to find an already answered question that covered the same issue. Also, lack of response to a specific question. Finally, attempt to E-file was rejected because of update problems. In using the help section, this seemed to be a common problem. There were several solutions suggested, with some rated as less helpful. It took some time to select one that seemed most likely to work, and it did, but with some effort.
What's great about it: Over the past five years, TurboTax has been great and easy to use.
What's not so great: This was the first year I've had problems using Turbotax.
Entering information for filing both my Federal and State returns was easy. But trying to post the payment to e-file my State return turned into a nightmare. Since I only use this program once a year, for the life of me, I couldn't remember the answer to the "Security Question." The Help Button was ponderously unhelpful, telling me how to reset my user ID and my password, but nothing could get me past that Security Question, which was the problem in the first place! However, I called the telephone support, and the young man solved the problem quickly, efficiently, and politely. While I appreciate all the security layers, this was very discomfiting for me. But I did appreciate the fantastic customer service shown.
What's great about it: User Friendly. Easy Questions with clear concise explanations.
