1099-R Teachers Retirement

When filling out the 1099-R for teachers and state retirement system of NC it is very hard understanding if you've filled it out correctly. Even though you fill the on screen 1099 the same as the paper one sent in the mail, it's very difficult understanding if its correct. If you would make this more understandable it would be a great help. This is the part of taxes I struggle with every year. Other than that it's a great product. Keep up the great work and thanks again!
What's great about it: Very simple stright forward process.
What's not so great: 1099-R Teachers AND STATE RETIREMENT SYSTEM OF NC

This year when I had some new items pop up I was not sure how to handle them, used the TurboTax Community and also logged on to TurboTax.com and was able to get the answers I needed.
What's great about it: Asks the questions for items I sometimes forget to include to get the best refund.
What's not so great: Not always sure what Turbo Tax package is best for my needs.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Overall great ..,. except the AMT part

Another good year with TurboTax - thanks.
What's great about it: I really like when you indicate which box to look at on various forms. This takes all the worry out of filling it in.
What's not so great: The AMT stuff was super confusing.

Program did not direct me to the general sales tax...it just asked me if I had sales tax receipts, I said no and it bypassed the calculation sheet and would have cost me some $$$$
What's great about it: Easy formate for the most part
What's not so great: Had issue with the General Sales tax deduction on first go round

I don't like this. Marylands free efile is very difficult
What's not so great: Turbo Tax does not efile to State of Maryland without a fee
