easy to use

there is no drop down for former nyc employees receiving a pension from nyc which is not taxable in ny state
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: has a glitch in ny state returns of individuals who are retired receiving a ny city pension which is not state taxable,

I've used Turbo Tax for 10yrs now and have never had an issue. I purchase the Audit Protection and had to use it one year due to a missed document. They handled all the communication with the IRS and cleared the matter up for me. The IRS forgave the $13 plus interest that I should have paid.
What's great about it: Extremely easy to use. Very informative.
What's not so great: Nothing comes to mind.

Easy and quick filing process

I would use the product again, it was easy, fast and straight-forward with access to explanations if you needed them. But the cost of submitting a state return e-file is too high and the cost for additional states for filing is also too high.
What's great about it: step by step Q&A process, comparison to last year
What's not so great: cost of filing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbox Tax makes my life easy at tax time!

I have been using Turbo Tax for 20 years - amazing! Each year it improves. I like how easy the income and deductions are and the fact you can return to it easily. Plus I like seeing what I entered for a total in the previous tax year.

Tubo 2013 for 2012

Feel exceptionally good about having my taxes checked. Like the advice and the format of the print out of worksheets.
What use to take days now only takes a couple of hours...that is if you have all your documents at hand.
I no longer dread doing my taxes.

Solid software to complete Federal Tax Returns

The process to enter and complete my taxes was simple and easy to follow. I appreciated the opportunity to select my own areas rather than go through unneeded sections.
What's great about it: It was very nice to download the state forms.
What's not so great: Not easy to delete forms after they have been created.

Overall I would highly recommend it and have.
What's great about it: It asks me the questions i wouldn't think to ask for to make the most of my refund.
What's not so great: Some of the questions are a little confusing
