Easiest way to do your taxes!

I have been using turbo tax for years! Even after my taxes suddenly became more complicated, turbo tax guided me through it all and I have never had any problems with my returns. Thanks Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Step by step guide
What's not so great: Occasional glitches if you accidenty check the wrong box
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

So simple, so fast

After the first year using TurboTax, it only gets easier and easier, since it imports previous years data (and gives a helpful comparison at the end of this year) as well as importing forms from participating banks and employers. Very cool. Every year it seems to get a little easier, although my tax situation gets more complex. Nice work.
What's great about it: Import from last year, downloading forms
What's not so great: so many updates
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Another one bites the dust!

Turbotax is by far the best program out there. I've tried the others but Turbo just is miles ahead of the rest. Ease of entry, carryovers from the previous year, downloading from Brokerage are all helpful and useful tools.
What's great about it: Like the carryover from last year's return
What's not so great: There is nothing I didn't like

Some parts of forms are unable to edit or made correction of wrong information. Like in form if filed Czech republic, it keep for some reason code "EZ" instead of correct code "CZ" and you can't override it.....
What's great about it: Have most of forms and information

TurboTax Is the Easiest and the Best

I have used TurboTax for years. I buy the appropriate edition for my situation at the time. I've never tried the free version, so I can't review that. I did try the free version of TaxAct and it barely even processed any information at all and was difficult to use. I've been a user of many Intuit products and always get great Customer Support. I'll continue to use TurboTax for years to come.
What's great about it: Easy to use, Walks you through every single possible deduction, corrects any errors
What's not so great: Not sure how protected my data is, would like more reassurance

Great Program

Turbo Tax reduces the time it takes me to do my taxes. I am definitely hooked, and would not think of doing my taxes without this tool. If Intuit provided a tax planning program for me to use all year long I would use it to help me make investment decisions with the knowledge of the tax implications. I would not base my told investment decision on the information, but it would be one of the inputs of the decision making process.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax was easy to follow and helped greatly by importing data from the previous year and my brokerage firms.
What's not so great: Not a big deal but I would like to see a summary of the imported data and where it was added to the tax forms.
