Turbo Tax

I have been using Turbo Tax since 2008 and I love it!! Very easy to use and I get my return quickly!! I look forward to using it again and again!
What's great about it: Asks questions that are easy to answer!
What's not so great: Only comes with one free state

Simple yet comprehensive

This is the 9th year that I have used Turbo Tax to file my returns. Each year they have included more and more detailed information while simplifying the entire process of this dreaded task. Showing a comparison of last year's and this year's amounts for each section is a feature that lets you instantly see whether or not you may have omitted something. I feel very confident that my refund is the largest it can be, and I will receive it in a very short while thanks to Tubo Tax's free E-File feature.
What's great about it: questions dig deep; very thorough; offer lots of sources to answer my questions
What's not so great: can't think of anything I didn't like

Get's better every year

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. It has been a consistently good product. Although I generally just want to go to where I know I need entries, I always use the interview - just in case I missed something. This year the program found me a $200 credit I didn't know about. Thanks Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Auto add of last year's basics; provides info from last year for comparisons
What's not so great: Didn't seem to return to exactly where I left off as in previous years. I had to "re-do" several interviews.

Wonderful product

After leaving the Navy, I studied accounting and became an accountant because I couldn't figure out whether I could take a deduction or not on my 1977 tax return. This product is extremely easy to use. And you don't have to know anything about accounting to use it. I recommend this product to all of my friends.
What's great about it: It's so easy to file these returns.
What's not so great: Resetting my password. I had to open a new account just to charge the e-file for my state. 3 tries and I gave up.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I can do my taxes from home and if I need to get a form I just go get it instead of seeing someone and then trying to book time with them and fitting it in to my schedule. I can also go and do things that are important to me, like spending time with my baby and do my taxes when she is napping.
What's great about it: I can do it when I'm ready
What's not so great: none

TurboTax is quick and easy!

Overall, TurboTax is a great product! It walks you through all areas of your tax return with links offering detailed explanations along the way. It took less than 20 minutes to complete my federal and state returns. The state return is not quite as user friendly, however it is still easy enough to move through it quickly. I would recommend TurboTax to anyone!
What's great about it: I completed my state and federal taxesS in less than 20 minutes
What's not so great: The state on state refund were not very user friendly
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
