Very Good, not excellent

There should be a question/option to skip all deductions when you know you'll take the standard deduction.
Crucial for me: There should be a reviewable and printable form that you can use to crosscheck Sch B and D items -- a summary.of all the items entered for these forms. I have to do my own to cross check on my (former) Excel Tax sheets. For my fee, I should have better tracking to make sure I haven't made a mistake in data entry
What's great about it: systematic
What's not so great: needs a few short cuts and improvements

If someone wants to get through taxes and not have to sit and wait for the person in front of you to finish this is for you. I can't say doing your taxes are fun but TurboTax makes doing taxes complete and accurate and satisfying when I finish !!!
What's great about it: Everything I needed was covered and of course some that didn't apply to me but that's okay !
What's not so great: Can't thing of anything I did not like about the processs, Thanks.

Easy to work through

We have a reasonably complex return with a lot of deductions, credits, etc. using TurboTax is fairly easy, just requiring a work through the various steps and forms.

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years and have recommended to others because of the straight forward way it deals with accumulating information, processing that information and reporting same. The checks are reassuring and the final review is exactly that.
I see no reason not to continue Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Straight forward,easy to understand, doesn't have to be done in one sitting
What's not so great: no significant cons

TurboTax Makes the Intolerable Tolerable

This is my sixth year using TurboTax and I've never had the first problem with the IRS. I can't say the same for the CPAs that used to do my taxes at a much more substantial cost.
What's great about it: I liked using the TurboTax asks You the Questions
What's not so great: None

Simple!

This was my first full year of retirement - no business expenses - and also complicated because of the loss of my partner and all the issues that go with it. Turbo Tax made it easier than I expected and simple to complete.
What's great about it: Made my first retirement taxes easy to calculate!
What's not so great: Short learning curve but not bad...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
