Great to work with - quick and simple instructions

Easy to work through all the different parts of my return. The program seems to get easier each year, or I'm getting better at working with it.

I've used this product for at least 10 years. This year was the worst for trying to download updates. I ran into numerous runtime errors and had to look for work arounds several times. It took me twice as long as it should have to complete my returns this year.

Taxes for Dummies

I have used Turbo Tax since my father recommended it to me, over a decade ago. This is the easiest and friendliest way to do your taxes. I let Turbo Tax remind me of the exact paperwork I need to complete my federal return.
Every year, I attempt to input all my possible deductible items; yet, the standard deduction ends up being higher. Consider this before pulling out all your receipts. If in doubt, Turbo Tax will take you step by step and make sure of which deduction is right for you.
Simply put . . . I trust Turbo Tax to guide me through the tax preparation process.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax takes you step by step, so you do not miss any possible tax issues.
What's not so great: Needs to show what the standard deduction is BEFORE trying to input all other deduction possibilities.

All works well for me except for the Form 4562 line 13 carryover of disallowed deduction. This is a mystifying 'error' each year. TT offers no help for resolving it. Why?
When TT couldn't validate the e-file request, I called TT and after a 10 minute wait was given a speedy solution by Sondra. My Thanks! Probably something TT can correct.
What's wrong with a 2 letter nickname. They're supposed to be short!

Turbo Tax CD version

Installation driver hung up. I am a busy man and cannot spend long wait for online help. I finally abandoned Windows 7 and fired up my old XP to get it running.
Important suggestion: Put more effort to make it trouble free installation. It is extremely frustrating when it does not install, in my case it hung up forever with no error message.
I love Turbo Tax after successfully installed. Unfortunately I have to experience installation problem almost every year.
What's great about it: Very good and very easy to use once installed
What's not so great: Great pain in installing to my computer
