It is hard to use and instructions are difficult to follow particularly the state and advertising is overdone

Recommend Turbo Tax to everyone.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is perfect for me. It updates from year to year and downloads tax info from employers and investments.

2014 TurboTax Deluxe Review

This is the third year I have been using TurboTax and find the software easy to use. In fact, organizing my prep documents became easier because makes it easier to know what supporting documents are required for deductions and credits.
What's great about it: Relatively easy and find the help notes and reviews very helpful.
What's not so great: The PDF files had some difficulty printing clearly or completely. No problems with other documents.

Terrible Efiling Process

I have used TurboTax for years and years!!! NEVER have I experienced so many problems with the efile not validating. I have to file state and federal separately, plus it takes multiple attempts, closing out, saving, and restarting TurboTax before the return sends. I have never been so frustrated with your product. I don't know what coding was changed for 2013, but it is not consumer friendly or efficient. I am seriously thinking about using a different tax preparation software next year.

I hope next year will be easier. Seems like I paid a lot extra for Turbo Tax after the initial CD expense. I'll be ready next year. Also seems like there shouldn't be an additional cost to e-file my state income tax if I'm mailing my tax payment separately & paid extra for the state tax form.
What's great about it: Saved lots of money on CPA
What's not so great: Additional cost after buying Turbo Tax Deluxe.
