I would recommend it to my friends. Most things are explained pretty well. Easy to go back and correct error.
What's great about it: Easy to understand and easy to file.
What's not so great: Price of tubro tax should be less for return customer.

Great Program

I have used Turbo Tax for many years now and have always been satisfied. The program imports data from previous years on your computer making it simple to work the following years taxes. It also imports information from many banks and financial institutions around the country. This has saved me time with dividends and interest inputting and computing. I really enjoy using Turbo Tax and highly recommend it to everyone.
What's great about it: Ease of Use; Imports data
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Once all the preliminary gathering and sorting of back up material is done, I find it kind of fun to fill in the blanks and let Turbo Tax do the calculating. Also, found it helpful to ask questions and get answers.
What's great about it: Directions are easy to follow and help is easy to obtain.

Previous versions were much easier.

I will continue to use Turbo Tax but there were situations with more than just two answers and it was difficult to find thr additional answer.
What's great about it: Back Button
What's not so great: this version seemed too business like, which caused confusion while trying to get the correct answers.

Great refund

After your tech support helped me get the program loaded. Everything worked great.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Bought an install disk. It did not work. Had to use tech support.

Taxes by yourself

I like doing my taxes by myself using Turbo Tax. I have been doing it this way for years. I like that using TT always gets me the largest refund and if I have a question about whether I can deduct something, the question is easily answered. I know it can take some time to go though all the income and deduction sections, but seeing the refund add up as you go though each section helps out.
What's great about it: Detailed sections for income and deductions
What's not so great: Programs goes though all income and deductions even if they do not apply
