Great -- but!

Such as preparation of our house to close and sell; my expenses associated with her passing; my relocation expenses that followed, etc
What's great about it: Easy to use, follow and file
What's not so great: My wife's passing did not allow me to enter data that was specifically tied to her death

I love the product and have been using it and its predecessor for over 10 years---maybe approaching 20?
Cons area up top too short so more complete listing here. Some of the screens are 3-4 pages of more long, requiring lots of scrolling on each page to his a button to move on. I would like a continue button at BOTH the top and bottom of the pages to allow for easier scrolling in these LONG pages.
What's great about it: easy to navigate, loads last years info, consistent year to year to make easy to use, predictable which is a god-send
What's not so great: some of the screens are 3-4 pages of more long, requiring lots of scrolling on each page to his a button to move on

If you organize your tax data, it's basically answer the questions and fill in the blanks
What's great about it: Have been using TurboTax for years and think it's great.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years without any problems. One year I took my completed Turbo Tax return to a local CPA, as a second check. She couldn't find anything that I had missed, everything was fine. She told me that they use Turbotax in their office.
What's great about it: Quick and easy to use. Covers all the bases,
What's not so great: None.

Turbo Tax---GREAT

I have used Turbo Tax since I retired. No longer have to pay a CPA. I am almost computer illiterate but Turbo Tax is a user friendly program and all I have to do is answer the questions by filling in the blanks. Would recommend Turbo Tax Deluxe to anyone who can itemize.

What's not so great: would like updates to load before starting return

Always worked and now even easier
What's great about it: easy to use with walk through and then able to go back and pick up without going through whole procedure

Turbo Tax is so easy to use. I particularly like the fact that it imports last years information into the new return.

I have been an exclusive TurboTax customer for approximately 20 years. As I have grown to expect, I was again very disappointed in the state portion of your income tax preparation software. It seems it does not have a lot of the automatic features that the federal portion has, and I am expected to know lots of things that I don't know. I would ask that you please put more effort into the state tax preparation -- it simply is not that user friendly!
What's great about it: The federal portion is very good.
What's not so great: The state portion is very bad!
