Super Easy

I used the step by step method and it greatly enhanced my tax return amount. It helps to look at your cardholder's "yearly summary" to itemize.
What's great about it: Quick n Simple
What's not so great: Need info handly
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Quick for Experienced Users

The main part of Turbo Tax for the non-business side was pretty seamless and quick. However, using this as I have done in the past for Schedule C and SEP IRA info was much more difficult, and I had to hunt in within the forms view to even enter the information. It is almost like Intuit is making this more difficult so you will feel the need to upgrade to the higher version ($$). I only need basic Schedule C and the Deluxe version has been just fine in the past. Seemed almost misleading. Definitely should only be used for Bus income/expenses for experienced users and those already tax knowledgeable.
What's great about it: Quick method of entering and reviewing information
What's not so great: Bus part was more difficult than in past

First time user ... and totally disappointed

I just purchased my first copy of TurboTax. I wanted to give it a try before sending my tax info to the accountant I have been doing business with for 30 years. I am very disappointed. Entering information such as estimated state taxes paid this year was incredibly difficult; not all tax info I usually send to my accountant could be entered which should compromise accuracy and reliability; entering charitable deductions is difficult to the point of being ridiculous and on and on. I suspect that the final result is within the ballpark, but with the IRS "ballpark" is not good enough. Finally, I really wanted to start entering data for 2014 so that it will all be organized and ready for next year and for the life of me I couldn't find a way to do it. This is an inferior product. I am surprised that so many recommend it.
What's great about it: Gives me a general overview but with questionable relibality
What's not so great: Cumbersome, not user friendly, makes it difficult to enter some types of information, time-consuming

Fairly Simple but more state tie in needed

Easy to use for Fed and State. Most data entry is reduced or eliminated especially for year after year users such as myself.
What's great about it: easy to use most data ports from fed to state easily and succesfully
What's not so great: The 529 PA screen did not port dependent Info such as soc #. Would be nice to allow selection of this information.

More explanation f changes

Some changes are not well thought out. For example, pensions are lumped together with RMD's causing much anguish with inappropriate questions.
Other additions (changes) are for good reason BUT not fully rationalized
What's great about it: Most screens well composed
What's not so great: Changes from previous years need explanation

Taxes Completed at Ease!

I enjoyed how Turbo Tax asked me all the questions to prevent me from losing out on any deductions.
I enjoyed the way it was automatically calculated for me.
I will continue to use Turbo Tax each year because it keeps track of all my previous years information to import it in.
