TurboTax always performs

I have been using TurboTax for about 8 years now since another national chain messed up my taxes pretty bad. The chain had me doing all sorts of crazy things to get extra deductions but never explained their impact. With TurboTax I am in control of my tax return and can report an accurate accounting of my financials. The deduction reminders and the guided walk thrus were more than enough for me to get the return I was hoping for. I am risk adverse when it comes to taxes and TurboTax has not let me down yet.
What's great about it: Ease of use and that guided tours, as well as the tax code lookups
What's not so great: I wish it were free

Super easy to use!

I thought it was tough to add deductions for a personal business. It would make sense that they are in the deductions area, but for some reason they were in the income area. I found myself combing through the sections a few times to find where to enter this info and I still don't feel confident about it. Everything else is great!
What's great about it: Very fast and easy, I Love how easy it makes uploading previous returns

overall was good. It hung up one time and when I restarted the compute all my information was lost.
Did not install the state return the 1st time. Had to go back and reinstall the state tax and I think it was then that the software hung and ddi not move until had to restart and loos
What's great about it: Question asked on itemized deductions
What's not so great: It is unforgiving and not flexible -Does not let you add in certain areas like Job search and Job certification expenses

Easy to use

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and very pleased with it. I'm not sure how, but it seems to get better every year. For a an average Joe that doesn't know a debit from credit it easy to use and very intuitive. Thanks Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Saves all prior year's data that is brought forward

Got More Than I Expecteed

I really like Turbo Tax. I have used this soft wear for over 8 years o prepare my taxes and some of my family members as well. I highly recommend it to my family and friends.
What's great about it: The guide you through option
What's not so great: non at this time
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Biggest return ever!

I have used TuboTax for many years. I have always felt comfortable and safe using this program. Using the e-file feature really does save time and, if you are going to get a refund, it does come sooner.
This year, I felt that the program was made even easier than before. However, I also felt that a bit more explanatory information could have been included especially about the phasing out personal exemptions, which I experienced.
I anticipate using TurboTax next year as well. I highly doubt that I will ever switch to another brand of tax software, even if it is less expensive.

When I started using Turbotax many years ago I was a liitle apprehensive but that soon faded and never happened again.
Completely trustworthy and more efficient beyond belief. You've just got to try it !
