OUR FEDERAL AND STATE TAX DOCUMENTS WERE AN UNBELIEVABLE 6O TOTAL PAGES. I COULD NOT HAVE DONE OUR TAXES WITHOUT TURBO TAX. ! IF WE HAD TO USE
A TAX SPECIALIST I AM SURE HIS OR HER FEE WOULD
HAVE BEEN 10 TIMES GREATER THAN THE COST OF TURBO TAX!

What's great about it: USER FRIENDLY, FAST & EASY
What's not so great: NO PROBLEMS USING TURBO TAX THE PAST 7 YEARS

What's great about it: Does all the math, thorough
What's not so great: couldn't find an easy way to delete form, found it by accident
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Another Complicated Return Done Easy

I have been using TurboTax since the 1990's and each time doing my taxes has been much less taxing.
It transfers my data from the last year so I don't have to reenter everything. All I have to do is make sure there aren't any changes and put in the current years data.
The interview format helps me not to forget about any of the many items that need to be entered. Like the milage for medical appointments and to make donations.
It takes care of the points from when we refinanced our morgage. I don't have to worry about figuring it out each year.
It also took care for the carryover loss from selling a property my family owned.
I love TurboTax and recomend it every chance I get.

Makes doing taxes easier than by hand

Never had this problem before, but for some reason my pension showed up as taxable for state taxes and it's not taxable in my state. No idea why.
What's great about it: Reminds you of what you did last year. Very valuable feature.
What's not so great: Sometimes it's hard to figure out what you did wrong when entering data.

Best One Yet

I've been using TurboTax since 2007 and won't do anything different. I got my parents onto it, and they get more money back with this than they did going to the local tax guy. My family is SOLD!
What's great about it: Pulls info from last year, doesn't miss a deduction, easy to understand
What's not so great: Nothing.. TurboTax wins

Turbo Tax is generally easy to follow.
I wish the St. of CT taxes were less complicated. They should have all this info on me, a state resident..

I had to wait to print paperwork because it would only print one side. Example Page 2 did not print, page 3 did, page 4 did not.
What's great about it: Easy to input
What's not so great: Occasional problems with printing
