Returns are so easy!

I have used TurboTax for several years now, and have had complex to simple returns and they are made so much simpler than doing the tax returns the old fashioned way!
I also liked the way Its Deductible was embedded in the tax software this year!

What's great about it: I like the way TurboTax walks you through the steps and has help for questions along the way
What's not so great: Lots of paper if you print it

I've used TurboTax Deluxe for the last 5 years and felt great after each filing.
What's great about it: Great guidance throughout the complete tax preparation process!
What's not so great: Actually, we didn't find any cons while completing our Tax Forms.

I have used Turbox Tax for many years and will continue to do so. Now that my wife and I have reached the age when we have the house paid for and no interest expenses and little other deductions, we know that going through all the deductions will not equal or exceed the standard deduction. I would like the option of using the standard deduction instead of going through all the deductions. Thanks....Martin
What's great about it: Detailed review of all income and deductions, easy to use, easy to understand.
What's not so great: Did not like going through all deductions when i knew standard deduction was best.

Turbo Tax is ideal for simple filing, but any additional Forms complicates it a bit. Had difficulties with finding Form 4835 (farm rental). Took several days and reading lots of FAQs to get answers.
What's great about it: easy input

Easy to Use

Everything on Turbo Tax is quite simple and straight forward to use with the exception of the "back " button.
The back button should allow one to bring up the page (or area) immediately proceeding the page currently being viewed. Instead, the back button takes one back all the way to the start of the particular section. One then has to start all over again entering data, or reviewing the information, or importing data from an outside document...etc...
Other than this minor annoyance, Turbo Tax is great! I plan to use Turbo Tax again next year as well.
What's great about it: Ease of use is fantistic
What's not so great: The back button should allow to move back one page and not all the way back to the begining of the section.

I have used Turbo Tax for about 10 years now. it is easy and almost fun to do taxes. The product gets better and better each year. And seems to get easier and simpler to use.
What's great about it: easy step by step proceeedures
What's not so great: hard to find standard deduction for D O T/ H O S professional driver meals

Doing taxes isn't fun but this was a close second!

OK, I've got a relatively easy return to put together - but using TurboTax made it even easier - especially since I had to play around with different filing scenarios, it was a breeze to just click different checkboxes and done! I just wish it would respond to scrolling up and down using those gestures on a touch pad.
What's great about it: Easy to test different scenarios
What's not so great: Should be able to scroll using that function on the touch pad
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
