Take the Guesswork Out of Your Tax Refund

In general, Turbo Tax is easy to use and fast. With your documents gathered you can file both your state and federal taxes in about an hour or two. It gets easier the next year. Turbo Tax saves all your info from your last return so your next return takes even less time to file. E-file your federal return for free for a faster refund. Also, if you use "Mint" a finanical app (and website) also developed by the Intuit Corporation, you can easily import your bank interest too. I recommend Turbo Tax and Mint as well for all your financial needs!

I have used TurboTax for at least 8 years. I am always impressed with the product and how easy it is to use. I really like that I can work on my taxes in snippets.

Illinois provides a credit for local real estate taxes paid during the tax year. Information was entered, but it never showed up on Illinois form if the standard deduction was employed on the federal form, I had to get schedule from Illinois, will have to complete Illinois form manually, and will not be able to electronically file Illinois form. I expect there are many Illinois turbo tax customers who are over-paying their taxes because they don't know that turbo tax is not correctly processing their real estate tax payment infomation. BIG SCREW UP on this one, guys.
