Helps with the complexities of Tax filing

Not only does Turbo tax help ease the headache of filing tax returns, but also provides good basic education on rules for tax filing.
What's great about it: Good and detailed walk through. Updates are always current.
What's not so great: Sometimes one has to research a bit before answering a question.

Easy Filing for Mail In Return

Knowing I had a return coming I purchased the Turbo Tax Deluxe and was able to file everything in about 4 hours time period

I appreciate using turbo tax it saves me a lot of headache every year and I highly recommend its use.
What's great about it: detailed explanations of deductions, assets, taxable items
What's not so great: limited detailed explanations of taxable items

Great product/service

Overall this is a great product that is very user-friendly and easily understood. It removes much of the "ouch" factor from the filing process. Military residence/resident status needs some tweaking so that it is more accurate. As it stands now, it does not reflect a Service Member's true residential status.
What's great about it: walk-throughs really made filing easy; help modules were clear and concise
What's not so great: Program does not seem to understand military resident/residence status.

Life is good with TurboTax

Thanks to many years of opportunity to improve, I think this is one of the most bug free and usable pieces of software there is.
I like that I can look at the level of detail I want, from having my hand held through every step to being able to go directly to a line on a form or worksheet that I want to change or get help on.
What's great about it: Thorough and flexible
What's not so great: none for me - I did get confused at one point where I tried to find business expenses in the expenses tab instead of tab

e-fileing was LOST and never filed, Cost Penalty

Check to make sure with the IRS that they have received and are processing your refund.
What's great about it: Great unitl I received Dec 9th IRS letter of Non Receipt of my return.
What's not so great: Paid for my e-filing but it was never filed and I incurred a late fee in December as the result
