Another great tax filing

Love using Turbo Tax year after year. It keeps track of what I've done before and automatically fills in the necessary information.
What's great about it: easy, prompts for all previous deductions and incomes

Found the BEST Tax Program

Purchased both TurboTax and HR Block this year. Worked both and will now always go with Turbo Tax . It's much easier to use and the refund amount for both programs was the same.

Turbo Tax is easy and complete

Turbo Tax helps every step of the way.
I have been using it for many years now.
It has got better every year when I really haven't seen any issues a long the way.
I start Turbo tax with a pile of papers and when I am done they have all been addressed.
In the earlier versions I sometimes had items left over that I missed going through. But the great thing even way back when and now is I can go find the section that the info belongs and enter it.

What's great about it: I liked the way it guides you step by step which helps me notice if I am forgetting things that will increase my return
What's not so great: I can't think of anything that needs improvement, it really is easier than doing on paper or with a tax advisor.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellently prepared software and easy of use

Intuit has done such a great job and use of technology that have enabled the non-tax professional to do the task required of a non-accountant/non-business academically prepared citizen to complete. Why would such a system and requirement be so complicated for the average filer. Intuit has broken this down as it should be.
What's great about it: Step by step guide makes it easy to navigate -can't believe no one would not want to do their own using this program
What's not so great: Have used this software for several years and have been exceptionally pleased. No cons

2013 Review

Everything was great as usual with Turbo Tax except Schedule A Sales tax deduction. I selected email update when this schedule was ready but when the email arrived telling me that the form was ready.....it gave me no clue as to how to download the update. In the past whenever I started Turbo Tax it automatically asked if I wanted to download any new updates....but not this years version.

Tried other software. Nothing like Turbo Tax!!! Had to go back to store and purchase Turbo Tax. Would go no other way!! Yeah for Turbo Tax!!

turbo tax is great; I have filed my second income tax without difficulty; I feel like i can do this year after year giving me confidence that i'm in charge of my finances.
What's great about it: easy for anyone to file their own taxes
What's not so great: downloading the state form was too slow
