Refund Made Easy!

I really appreciate the ease of use of Turbo Tax and the fact that I understand each topic I'm working on because of the readily available links with explainations. The speed at which I can get my taxes done every year find me coming back again and again. Why spend a ton of money on a professional when you can pay a fraction of the cost and get your taxes done in your pajamas?!
What's great about it: I really appreciate the easy to use interface and the explainations provided if you're confused about a topic.
What's not so great: There are no cons.

Printing selected copies

When I get ready to print a Return, I do not need to print the instructions that tells the taxpayer where to file his return. I provide an envelope for that. I also like to print Form 1040 instead of the 1040A. I do not find any choice of the forms that I would like to print. You have taken that away from me. I also did not find any choice of the number of returns to be printed.

These are all problem areas:
repeated updates a pain.
when I transmitted, I got the spinning cursor and I had to quit the program, yet it completed and was accepted by the IRS.
Even though I had just saved the file, it wanted to save again and it said it couldn't find the file. This year's version is not good.

Too Many Problems

This program had too many bugs this year. Error 1603 for one. The it says you cannot e file the state and I just did on the state website at no cost to me. I may just file directly with the government next time and save myself some money. I was very disappointed with all the issues this year.

Useless Software

5 stinking hours of doing taxes using your program when I could have completed the whole Form 1040EZ in less than 30 minutes on paper. And when I do finally get done your useless program won't even let me e-file (this was the only reason I bought it). All you had to do was have your program indicate that I can't e-file if I have repaid Unemployment Compensation in the same year.

I am extremely dissatisfied with my turbo tax experience. I want to efile my returns and have been struggling with it for hours. My federal forms are finally available to upload and I did that. I uploaded and installed all updates and still, every time I try to transmit my taxes elecronically - I get an error message that an update is needed. I go to the turbo tax menu, check updates and there is none. I give up and am mailing in the hard copies which will make the completion of my son's student loan forms for college problematic as it is geared for efiling! I am very unhappy and do not plan on purchasing your program again. It is not worth the headaches.
