What's great about it: Resolution
What's not so great: nothing really
After doing a lot of research about a projector for home, I went for this one. Going from a 56" TV to a projector, did not know what to expect, however as mention on earlier reviews, the clarity of the image is really good even in full daylight and at night is perfect. If you are looking for a great projector at a great price then this is it, you can obviously move to higher professional projectors but is it really worth it if this is the first time you try a projector? probably not.

What's great about it: Great picture on a small, easy to use unit
What's not so great: The .005 watt speaker. Of course, that's not what you're buying it for (at least I hope not).
I checked out a lot of reviews before buying this projector, and I have to agree with the glowing comments I read. Considering the price this projector is an awesome deal.
I managed to drop our twenty five year old television when I was moving it into our new home. My very forgiving wife agreed that the best option to replace it was a ceiling mounted projector (we have a one year old who likes to climb everything, including entertainment centers). We've had this projector for a month now and we've been impressed with the ease of use, the bright image (even during the day), and the crisp picture. We have it positioned so that the screen is about 70 inches (diagonal), and the picture looks great.
One recommendation: Use HDMI cables (and HDMI compatible devices, of course)! The picture is much better when you do. We've watched movies with the projector hooked up to our old, old Xbox 360 using component cables and the bright yellows, oranges, and whites get horizontal lines when there is any motion.

What's great about it: Easy set up, incredible picture, great price

I really am impressed with this projector! Initially, I purchased a pico projector to use for presentations and video editing (I like to project the image to make it easier to see what's being edited#. The pico was great, but it just wasn't powerful or bright enough for my needs. So, I exchanged it and paid $74 more for this INCREDIBLE projector! The picture is fantastic, even with the lights on or with natural light coming into the room. My primary use is in a home office #with windows#, but I'll also use it from time to time to watch movies in the upstairs loft #which also has windows#. The picture really is amazing for a projector that's under $500. The speakers are pretty good, although I'll probably add plug-in speakers when using it in the loft. The brightness, color and clarity of the picture is very impressive. The image in the office is 45 inches #give or take# and the pic in the loft is 87 inches... CRYSTAL CLEAR! The best thing is that I'm projecting onto a beige wall--meaning #as hard as it is for me to believe) the picture would be even better on a screen... I will be recommending this projector to everyone I know.

i bought this product yesterday, wanting to use it for my djing gigs and video mixing. very easy to set up.....picture quality is super awesome i was very impressed. ran it for a few hours it got alittle hot but the fan keeps it cool.

What's great about it: The quality of the images with the lights on.
What's not so great: I doesn't come with a stand or tripod.
This projector is great. We used it with the lights on, and still showing a clear, sharp, and great quality images. You can watch from the side of the screen and still perfect, you won't lose the view. It doesn't wait too much, it's very light.

We do a lot of game nights at my house and movie nights by the pool. We had been using an old projector that only had a VGA connector and it was terrible for gaming, and ok for movies. We hooked this up tonight in a spare room and projected an 85-90 inch screen onto a white sheet and had 3 people playing Black Ops on PS3. It was a lot of fun and much better than sharing a 42 inch screen with 3 or 4 people. No lag, and screen looked great. My only complaint was that word an be a little blocky, but they are not hard to read at all. Overall it was a very good experience for gaming and will be nice for game nights. Projecting a Blu-ray (from the PS3) was great as well. Colors were crisp, and the image looked amazing. Even playing .AVI or other movie files looks good on it.
For the price of this it is a great projector and I bet it would look even better if we projected onto something other than a white sheet. It is not as good as a $2000 Optoma or other projector but it looks great and you can even watch a show on it with full lights on in the room.
It also has an audio out to hook up better speakers wich make it nice. one problem I did run into was when running from audio out on projector to speakers it would crackle and buzz loudly during gaming but not on blu-rays or movie files. I am not sure what is causing this?
Don't hesitate if you need a cheap projector for gaming or movies, this works great.
