Choosing the G Pad was an easy decision. After falling in love with my LG-G2 and being in the market for a tablet, I was curious as to what LG had to offer. Much to my surprise, the G Pad was like a larger version of my LG smartphone, with almost the same UI. Not to mention the expandable memory and gorgeous display. The aluminum backing gives it a sleek, yet solid feel. And with QPair, my LG phone and tablet can communicate effortlessly, allowing me to see who's calling me or being able to send and receive texts while using the tablet.
Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my G Pad. Anyone in the market for a tablet should definitely not overlook this sleeping giant.

At the time I bought the LG G Pad it was up graded with Kit Kat. The display is top quality similar to H D TV. You can read small print. The print feature from Kit Kat is great for all my printing needs. The tablet was easy to set up and use I did buy a book on android. Sound out pot is good. I did buy a protective case with key board and Mira Cast dongle to view music videos on a large screen H D TV.

-Comes loaded with tons of LG bloatware
-Memory hog - over 1GB of ram usage with no apps orf widgets running
-Home button virtual overlay eats up valuable screen real estate in landscape mode and sometimes interferes with typing in portrait mode; ie you go to hit the spacebar and accidentally hit the home button.
-Tiny speakers deliver tinny sound
-Comes loaded with tons of LG bloatware

I REALLY like this tablet

I bought this tablet to upgrade from a 7" version I owned. This tablet has a great "feel" to it and I think its quality stands above the rest. I also own a LG G2 and thought it would be fun to use something with the same UI. Its a good version of Android though i may not be the best critic of that because these two devices are my first Andriod devices ever!
I LOVE the Tap On function, the Quick Memo function and am still getting used to some of the others like QSlide. Overall though it is a superb tablet. The one downfall I found when researching is that it is slightly more expensive than other manufacturers and it almost turned me away from it. However, with the "pros" in its favor I decided to purchase and don't regret it!

Great tablet at the perfect size!

I love my G-Pad 8.3. So far (after 6 months) the quality is great, I've had no issues with software or hardware. On the software side, I am not crazy about all of the software on the device, but most of it is easy enough to remove. I will say the remote control and knock on features are awesome. I find myself trying to knock my phone to turn it on now... The screen is spectacular looking and very bright. As for size, I've owned three tablets previously, two 7" and a 10". The 10" was definitely too big and the 7" models were good but not great. This model is the perfect size. Hardware-wise the tablet struggles a little with some heavy graphics in games, but other than this it is very speedy, with next to no lag when swiping around. I'd definitely recommend this for purchase!

Great display--bright, wonderful detail, beautiful colors, and easy to read from. Easy to use and blazing fast processor. Fits well into one hand. Just the right size. I didn't want a smaller 7" device or a larger 10" device. I also love its look.

Everything I wanted in a tablet

A few of the things that impressed me about this tablet while I was shopping for one was the gorilla glass screen, the aluminum back, and the 2 GB ram, not to mention the 1.7 Ghz processor. Out of all of the tablets I looked at, and reviews I read, this was hands down the Only tablet that met all the criteria I was looking for. First of all, it is a very attractive tablet. Now that I have the tablet, I am even more impressed. The screen quality is fantastic. The camera takes good pictures, as well as videos. The Polaris software allows me to transfer excel files for viewing or editing. It is lightning fast and very responsive. This is the first tablet I have owned and it was very easy for me to learn how to use it. The size is the perfect also. The 7 inch seemed too small, and a 10 inch would have been too awkward to read books with.
Just a few of the impressive features include the screen shot, and the Q Pairing. I have not seen another tablet on the market that will allow you to 'tether' to a smart phone and use the phone's internet connection if you need to.
No other tablet to consider!! This tablet has All of the features I was looking for, and more.
I am very pleased with this tablet and look forward to learning more about it every day. Would recommend to anyone.
