Excellent for engineering office

I chose the machine for the large format scanning and printing, but have been very pleased with the quality of scans, prints, and ink lifetime. In daily use in a small engineering and construction firm.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Printer

The printer/scanner is just what I needed. It is fast enough for my needs and the duplexing reduce the amount of paper used. The multiple paper trays and document feeder are a big time savers. The XXL cartridges appear that they are going to last a long time. The cost of ink is the driving factor in the total cost of owning an inkjet printer. This is so much less expensive than the previous printer I had. Scanning is easy.

Capable printer that is easy to use

Have been using this as my main printer and have found it easy to use and relatively fast. Also has capability to handle larger paper sizes such as legal for printing and scanning which is a plus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great printer for Engineers

Does a great job of scanning and printing 2 side B size (ledger size) electrical drawings. Low ink usage and more cost effective over a color laser MFC. Holds up for printing 5000 sheets a month or more. Just wish it had a manual tray that was longer to support printing checks.

Returning it

Could not set up the machine so I am taking it back.
Upon turning the machine on the firmware runs a loop of some sort to run a print check. It told me I had the wrong size paper installed in the first tray. However, it would not allow me to exit the loop and select the paper for tray 1.
I have some patience, but apparently not enough.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Product

We have purchased several MFC-J6920DW printers to use in our field offices, as well as corporate office and have found them to be very dependable with good quality prints. It is the first printer we have found (and I have tried several) that prints not only the standard papers, but 11 X 17" paper that does a quality job. I would say if you are looking for a great printer of dependability, this would be one.
I would recommend this to a friend!
