It's okay but could use some work

I bought this to replace an HP 7610 printer that I could not get to work with my new Microsoft Surface Pro 3. I was really happy when I set it up with no issues in just a few minutes -- a big change from the weeks of trouble the HP had given me. I was also happy with the ADF feature this printer has -- very nice. However, please note that if you use a yellow, pink or orange highlighter for your work, those colors will not be picked up when you scan or copy a document. The blue and green highlighters can be seen but they're much lighter than your original. And a purple highlighter can hardly be seen at all. If you plan to use this machine strictly for black and white printing and scanning, then I recommend it.
I bought two of these, one for my office and one to have at home. If only the scanning/color issues were resolved, I would give this 5 stars.

Great printer

This is a great printer, the options are wonderful. It's easy to use and so far has performed great. I love the rear feed (up to 11x17) for printing greeting cards on cardstock paper, envelopes, no need to pull out the paper tray and change from letter paper to cardstock ( envelope, photo paper, etc.) and then back again. The copy, fax, scan functions work as expected and provide additional options that are very useful (enlarge, 2-sided, etc). One negative is that the printed graphics don't seem have quite as much brightness/intensity as my old HP however this MFC printer uses much less ink so the trade-off has saved me some money on ink. The printer also comes with a nice suite of software. I really like the MFC-J6920DW.

Great Printer

This printer does it all. JUST REMEMBERA to put the top 8 1/2 x 11 paper in the tray sideways or it WILL NOT WORK. Took me forever to figure it out cause men don't read directions. So happy with this machine. Can't say enough about its functions.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great little printer. I need the 11 x 17 for my drafting and this printer does a great job without taking up much space.

This is the third Brother Printer that I have purchased. This one was a later version of the other two and if this one holds up as well as the other two I'll be more than happy. So far, it works fine. The only complaint I have is that it indicates that I need to replace the various color cartridges, but I find that I can easily get another 2 weeks out of them. So, now that I know this I wait 2 weeks after I get the first warning.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is one of three Brother printers I have. QL500,HL-2240; and printer above. Had HP before and was glad to get rid of it. So far, still learning about the printer, but think it is great. Use it for faxing, emailing documents and general printing. Especially like the fact that it has a second paper tray for large paper.
I would recommend this to a friend!
