Recommend with a caution

The printer functions very well and I am pleased so far with my experience with it. However, my caution is that this printer is not capable of printing labels, a fact that was not mentioned in the specs or advertising materials for it. I thought all printers in this day and age were capable of doing labels.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this printer. I do a lot of scanning (about 30 images per job) and it still works just as good as the day I bought it.

Frustrated

The specs on this computer meet all my office needs, but the print quality on all settings is not as sharp as my lesser dpi printer. Darkest density on best quality comes out bright, but still fuzzy compared to a 1200 dpi where this one should be 6000 dpi. I have no need to print photos. I only want crisp letters from print & copy.
It also prints much slower than expected from specs on all settings.
It communicates perfect with a smart phone. Computer setup took about 20 minutes with a disk. We set up 3 computers & 2 smart phones that all communicate with the printer from every room on two levels. Furthest print was probable 30 ft away in upper level. Printer is in lower level office.
When it comes down to it, crisp clear print and speed are the finest features of an average office printer. Those are the two areas this printer falls below average.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Encountered numerous breakdown with printer MFC-J6920DW. Unit will not power on.
Brother offered a replacement with a refurbished unit.

Decent Machine

It uses very little ink from what have seen so far. However, to improve the quality of print have to select "Best"
Have not printed really good quality photos yet as they come out as washed out.
I would prefer would scan to the hard drive rather that to somewhere in pictures under "Control Center 4". I have difficulty in converting over to the hard drive so don't give it very good marks here.

Good but....

The printer works well but we had a LOT of issues with the drivers. We are using the printer on a remote work site and purchased this printer because it could copy, fax, and scan, 2 sided copy and print, and handle 11 by 17 documents. We have multiple users and it turns out your installation literature does not deal with multiple users with multiple computers. YOU NEED TO FIX THAT. Other wise a quality printer and not bad for the price. One more thing OH MY GOD the hold times on you 1 800 number are really bad, but extremely helpful

Full of Praise for Full Format

Performs exactly as advertised. Having full format capability in a moderately priced printer is beyond belief.
Easy scanning capability is used almost as much as the printing.
Connectivity works... wireless from the desktop and wired to my laptop docking station. All good
