I expected more and I bought it for the brand name and price and feel that I should have received more. I also have a Brother laser B&W that I love.

When working properly, the MFC-J6920DW is really wonderful. When working, it provides a great range of outputs from a wonderfully condensed package.
That said however, we've had 2 defective machines that needed to be replaced within the first year. Additionally, we repeatedly have delays where we need to turn-off and unwire the machine when trying to simply send a scan to our computer.
Hopefully, the issue can be resolved in future software upgrades.

I loved this printer, initially! The idea I could print 11" x 17" posters was exciting. However, the retailer I purchased it from doesn't stock that size paper, unless you want a case! So I settled for the great quality prints. Then I learned the ink runs out fairly quick and most importantly the output tray is ridiculously small for any printer with two paper trays! I apparently am a high print user and need something more mass print friendly.

THis product is not working as I would have hoped. It is slow in spool time and has lost connectivity repeatly and requires reconnect to wireless network. The graphics are also less than desired. I print blueprints and the detail on a scan is not adequate. Color is reasonable for my purpose, but, would not recommend for detailed print jobs.

Mixed results

Good print quality and great features with 11x17 tray and duplex capabilities. I also like the ink saving options.
What I don't like: 1. The interface is cumbersome requiring multiple steps to print from the computer or copy direct on the machine. Perhaps there are some ways to re-organize or set defaults that I've overlooked. 2. Communication with the printer is very slow and I find I'm waiting on the computer to talk with the printer before settings can be selected and documents sent to print. It may only be 8-10 seconds but it is an annoyance I'm not used to.
