User friendly printer

The model I have is very user friendly for someone who is not an advanced user of printers or computers. It has much more to offer than my prior HP printer. At first blush it does not appear to be a glutton for ink as did my former HP printer. I would highly recommend this product. Look, if can unpack the machine, read and understand the installment instructions and it works the way it says it should, it should be a walk in the park for everyone else. Thanks for making something that does not confuse with technical jargon.

Quintessential home-office solution

I run an international consulting business from home & often need to produce &/or scan documents in paper sizes up to Ledger / A3. The Brother MFC-J6920DW that I recently purchased provides the kind of quality that I seek to deliver for my discerning clients. It has an easy to understand & intuitive user interface, it is easy to setup & with an automatic 2-sided document feeder, as well as multiple paper sources available simultaneously, it also saves me the time & hassle that's usually involved in having to feed individual pages multiple times or change paper trays like similar-sized units from other manufacturers. The cost per page is very competitive, particularly when print quality & ease of handling is taken into account. A very capable & cost effective machine that produces quality results. I cannot recommend it highly enough to others who may be considering it.

The whole package!

Have owned it about two months now. Haven't yet hooked up the fax, but will use that within another month. Printer works as advertised - fakes you out because it seems to hesitate as it's received the wireless data, than bangs out the prints! Pictures are fine quality; have used the scanner many times and am pleased with the whole bundle.

Good for most items

Works great for most jobs. Having problems when I try to print 2 sided with more than I page at a time. Its almost like the printer get in a hurry and and pulls in 2 sheets at a time and I get half a page on each sheet.

Not what I expected

This product does what it is designed to do, not very well though. Constant paper jams even though there is nothing in the scanner. Scans slow and always shows other false error messages. It does what it advertises but with a lot of assistance.

Very Cumberson to use. Panel meny selection stinks

If I had been able to find out more on it's functionality, I probably would have made another decision. Control Panel is very difficult to use and not enough functionality. Can not set new defaults and shortcuts will not stay put. Set new shortcuts and they revert back to Brothers defaults.

Extremely poor color printing

This printer is awful. Every time I print something in color it appears as though it's been white washed. It doesn't matter if I set the print quality to high, or change our the ink. It's awful with color printing no matter what.
