The parts that work are great

I have two of these printers, one at home, one at the office. The one at home I have had no trouble with. The one at the office has problems with recognizing ink cartridges and won't properly feed from the single sheet feeder.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best copier ever!

IBM employee. Easy of setting up and instructions were well written. Love the low use of ink. Copy quality excellent. Scanning documents takes little time and produces high quality resolution. Faxing also nicely done. Had to call customer support on an issue my hardware had. They were very professional and solved the problem quite nicely. Find the help on line - well organized and also very efficient. If you are looking for a copier, fax and scanner this is your machine!

Great Product

Everything so far has been good. Every year I have purchased a new all in one printer from HP. Did not hold up at all. So far I like the things that this one dose. Only one down fall not enough rings before fax picks up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased this mostly for copying photos to my computer.
So, it is now a very large paper weight.

Unlike the dozen or so copiers I have previously owned, this one does not automatically send the image to my computer.
So it's useless to me.

Good Machine

The MFC-J6920DW is a decent machine. I was looking to replace my old MFC-9840 CDW color laser multi function and my Epson 1400 large format. The ability to scan and print 11X17 on the 6920 was enough to get me to try it. It has worked well as soon as it came out of the box. The Brother Control Center software is decent also. Having used a color laser for so many years, I had forgotten about the short life of the ink cartridges and the reduction in print quality. 99% of the time, it is acceptable. Brother has been good to deal with when I did experience a problem. The sent out a replacement right away and I have been using that one ever since.
The biggest downside is the single feed tray and it is located on the rear of the machine. I'm running checks through my old printer to use up the toner, but the dread of having to rear feed checks will probably make me get rid of the 6920.

I love this printer

This amazing machine is the BEST Printer, Scanner, Fax machine I have ever owned. The Duplex scanning and printing are amazing. Ink seems to last a long time. I think I'm saving many $ on ink. I like the large 11 X 17 options. I keep finding new features, I just tried scanning to e-mail. It worked great - very useful feature.

Great printer for small offices

I like the speed and the capability of copying the larger size drawings and sketches. I have found that you really need to use only the Brother brand ink cartridges. I have never had trouble with paper in this printer even in the variable moisture possible in Kansas. For me the printer is very good.
