Stylish and Techie but doesn't protect much

I had this case for a few months now and I have to say that I really like it. I think it is stylish and it looks great, its also very convenient to have a flip open case, but still be able to see notifications or the time, without having to open the case. (It's a lot more convenient than one would think) My biggest issues being that in the likely event you drop your phone, the case will flop open in mid fall. In my own experience, I dropped my phone from about the height of an average chair; the case opened up in mid-air because there is now way to keep the case open or closed, and so my 2 week old Note III smacked the tile floor right on the bottom right corner, just above the stylus. Now I have a nice sized dent in my phone, and the chrome paint on the phone's edges scraped off. In conclusion, the case is really beautiful and useful, just be prepared that it really is not the most protecting.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: case opens when dropped, doesn't stay shut, occasionally causes lag

Protects screen and saves battery

I'm seeing a significant improvement in my phone's battery consumption since buying this. Down to less than 3% an hour with reasonably heavy use.
The fact it blocks most of the screen and leaves a small S-View window probably reduces screen power consumption, the biggest drain on the Note 3.
That said, I'm not sure how good this cover protects the Note 3 from damaging drops. It seems that while closed it might provide edge protection, but there's nothing to keep it closed. Therefore if the drop occurs when its closed and it partially unfurls on the way down, it may cause more damage than being bare because the phone exterior can hit the ground on the screen side and edges.
Overall, I'm happy with the cover, but wish it was a bit more substantial to protect the phone.
Pros: Lightweight, does not add bulk to phone
Cons: expensive

Awesome case

Awesome product, good quality material, good grip, feels like leather, also it protects the back camera lens and the plastic around it from scratches, definitely not a cheap material, unlike original back cover this has real stitching. The s view size is perfect, not too big not too small, although, you can only perform few tasks with it, it’s still worth the price. Will actually protect the phone 360 unlike s4 s view cover; where on the sides it won’t protect. The cons are that the window shows fingerprint smudges pretty quickly and you can only use the s view window for few apps, it shows the time, weather, date, and the top notification bar, you can answering calls, checking messages, take pictures with camera; which has its own problem, when you use the s view camera it changes from 13 mega pix. quality to 9 mega pix. and it stays there, so you manually have to go and change it back to 13 mega pix. again, action memo, and music player. But overall very happy with the case, I would have still buy the case knowing what I know about the case now.

Good idea bad implementation

I prefer the synthetic build over a leather for long term durability. It looks and feels good to the hand. The slim design fits well in the pocket.
Now onto the negatives.
It's expensive for what you get.
With the cover closed you cannot remove notifications, and you cannot clear calls. Both need to happen to make the cover useful otherwise it has to be opened to clear them.
It does not stay closed. Very bad when dropped. Fortunately there is an $8 fix for this.
The cover camera does not take quality pictures.
The light does not stay on long enough.

This product is a bit expensive for what it does. Difficult to flip around to get to the phone.
When registering, was able to get Model number, but not able to find the other number needed to complete registration.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Just got my s cover and it works perfectly, wish i would not have wasted my money on other cases the one fill all my needs.

love that I'm able to glance at my phone at s view window from and see if I have any missed calls or messages. I can also access my music and walk mate from s view
