Durable but 1 flaw

I love otterbox and it is very durable. It has saved my Galaxy Note 3 many times when I dropped it.
My toddler received the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 for Christmas. I purchased the otterbox with very high expectations. The products have the same button layout.
I am a little disappointed. The Tab 3 has a button on the front of the tablet and there is absolutely no protection for the button. The screen protector has a hole in it for the button. This allows sorts of things to get into the button and under the screen protector. I was so hoping the design was closer to the Note 3 where the button is protected.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: button not protected

I bought two cases for tablets for each of my sons. I needed something really durable since they are 7 and 9. I'm so glad I went with Otterbox. I researched online before purchasing and am so glad I did. They are very durable and protective. Perfect for young children.

I was afraid the Otterbox case would make my Galaxy Tab 3 look bulky (defeating the purpose of buying a slender tablet to fit in my purse) but I was pleased to find it still looks great, offering protection without adding too much width. I would recommend it to anyone. Even other cases that have the built in screen protector do not have the stand which I use so much more than I would have ever expected.

My first Samsung S3 I had once accidentally dropped while I was putting my son in his car seat. The case I had on it at the time was a blue metal one that you opened up to use the phone. As the phone fell it opened up and fell face down onto my asphalt driveway shattering the screen. After replacing the phone I purchased the Otterbox Defender case. As an outside Sales Rep I am constantly on the go and the phone get's thrown into pockets and bags often. Being dropped numerous times during the course of a month. Since using the Otterbox Defender, my phone anything else including my tablet have stayed safe and secure. All my portable electronics now utilize this case. These electronics cost a lot of money. My investments now have the best protection I can give them and it's really paid off. Thanks Otterbox.

Expensive for the cost of the device its protecting, about the third of cost of my tablet. It is cheaper than buying a new one if I drop it. The only real problem I have with it is that it really reduces the touch screen sensitivity.
