Benefits outweigh the price

My wife and I love the refrigerator, having the current weather displayed on the LCD screen is great. we use the middle drawer for numerous items that change as the seasons and holidays do. The led lighting is so much better than the traditional lights used in our last unit. The freezer storage capacity continues to amaze us both, it’s like having a separate freezer and it is surprisingly easy to keep organized. We both love this new fridge and have recommended it to anyone that asks. That includes our daughter, who just purchased one. Keep the software updates coming.

We absolutely love this refrigerator. The entire family does. It is amazing with the room and features. The WiFi Apps are great. I would recommend this appliance to everyone. Well done Samsung!

Samsung fridge with Apps

Ok,
I spent countless hours reviewing refrigerators and talking with friends and salespeople on new refrigerators. I chose this fridge for a number of reason. 1) great design (especially with kids), 2) lots of space, 3) energy saver, 4) apps. I love everything about this refrigerator EXCEPT the Apps! There is some kind of bug that makes it disconnect from the Wi-Fi connection, and then you can't reconnect. Sometimes the only way to reset the system is to pull the fridge out and then unplug/replug it back in. Samsung needs to fix the software bug and/or provide a reset button without having to unplug the fridge. Other than that (and it's kind of a pain when you're listening to music and can't connect), it's a great fridge. I would buy the one without the Apps until this bug is fixed.

You need a grocery list option write in. With ability to email it same with the receipts list you need to be able to email it so it can be printed. Also add an aux audio jack out.

This refridgerator is amazing, I hope it last for 22 years. I love the disign and most of all tons and tons of room, I think I will have to invite friends over now. I forgot to mentioned that I can listen to music, get online I can go on and on. My last refridgerator lasted for 22 years, hope Samsung live up to its name.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, space, just right, music, weather in and out

great fridge overall, but that 8" screen is really just for looks

this is a really big fridge, we had to knock down the wall to get it in (2nd floor), luckily my contractor didn't charge me too crazy for the work. the top two doors are slightly mis-aligned, same as my co worker's.
my major complaint is the screen, it's looks nice, but the apps are so limited and the touch screen is so much worst than the first generation smartphones, not any better after calibration either. the picture viewing from my picasa album is in small thumbnails, not even 1/4 the screen, so don't expect to use it as a digital photo frame. the pandora app is ok, sounds ok too, but nothing really interesting. i wish they had put in a real tablet, especially for this kinda price. if there is a retrofit to replace it with a galaxy tab 7, i'd do it in a heartbeat.

Love this fridge!

I had been shopping for a few weeks when this fridge showed up. I was already interested in a Samsung as I love my front loading washer and dryer with matching pedestals. I waited for 16 days from purchase to delivery but it was worth it. It is a beautiful appliance and very well made. I was concerned about Ice productions as we use tons of ice but this has not been an issue at all. Initially we were not able to connect to the wireless router even though we had the recommended one. We purchased a new 5G router and it connected right away. If i could ask for anything more it may be additional apps as we used all of the apps constantly!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, beautiful, great ice production, power freeze and cool
