This is the Crock Pot that I have needed for years!!! It is great for making an all-in-one casserole dish and cleans like a dream. I made scalloped potatoes with pork chops and the meat was fork tender while the potatoes were creamy and delicious. I plan to use this for many different recipes -- from entrees to dessert -- lava cakes, anyone???

This is an excellent size for 4 to 6 people. It's great in cooking ribs and other stews. When i saw this at the store, I thought of it as a perfect size for me, so I bought it immediately. It cooks evenly and my family loves it. It's a great addition in my kitchen.
Pros: perfect size, excellent quality
Cons: the rubber screw is not sturdy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I found out that I won a casserole crock-pot and received it in the mail a few weeks later. I'm not much of a cook and I haven't ever made a casserole so receiving this product gave me the opportunity. I made a breakfast casserole and it turned out wonderful. I was able to transport it to work and share with everyone. I love the sealed tight locking lid. It was very easy to transport and easy to clean. Not to mention how nice it looks. Thank you for this wonderful product - I will recommend it to everyone!!

Love it. Bought one for myself at Christmas time and just bought one to give my Mom for Mothers Day...only thing that would make it better, programmable timer that switches to warm, so if I get home late from work it's not still cooking...
Pros: easy to use and easy to clean up
Cons: not programmable

I love this crock pot. It is so much easier to get food out of on a buffet than the high ones. I do wish they made one 8X8 or 9X9" for us people who only have two in the household on a regular basisl

Stoneware is a problem

I bought this and used it twice and loved it. Unfortunately, after the 2nd use the stoneware cracked. After several phone calls Crockpot replaced the stoneware under warranty. Now after several uses the new stoneware cracked. I am thoroughly disappointed. I have other crockpots that I used for 20 plus years without the stoneware cracking. To make matters worse Crockpot does not have the replacement stoneware available for me to order and I cannot find a retailer that has it available. Completely frustrating...I can no longer use the crockpot.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The size is perfect for making enough food for our family and is not too large to find a storage place! I have mine sitting on the counter because I love the black and white design! It is perfect for a busy family like mine!

The first one I purchased had a defective lid. Would not line up with the locking mechanism. Exchanged it for another one and there was a crack in the ceramic pan. Exchanged it a third time and have now used it three times. The third time I used it as a slow cooker and according to user manual the inside ceramic part cracked on bottom during cooking. Really love the design but I would not recommend this product due to poor quality.

Cons: ceramic part is of very poor quality
