A Very Good Win 8 Tablet
on January 17, 2014
Posted by: Xantos
Before purchasing the Miix 2, I looked at the Nexus and Kindle tablets but I kept coming back to the Windows tablet. I like being able to link this tablet to my laptop and share across platforms. I like the performance of the Intel Bay Trail processor along with the Windows 8 OS. My only problem is that it is a little uncomfortable to hold over a period of time. It seems to be lacking a little in the design of the tablet. Also, I would have liked to have had a USB 2 port and a HDMI port. Overall this is a really good Windows 8 tablet and I would recommend it to anyone purchasing one.
Pros: Battery, Processor, Screen size, windows 8.1, memory card slot
Cons: Storage, Input/Output compatibility, Build Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn't come with Office 2013 Home & Student
on January 10, 2014
Posted by: lenovobuyer1
The tablet itself is pretty good.
I'm here to write that the tablet I got doesn't come with the Office 2013 activation key sticker, try to contact Lenovo service, and they refuse that this tablet come with the key. But talking to the sales dept, they said it come with it and I don't have to purchase my own product key. Worse experience ever.
Cons: Included Software
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Bang for your "Windows Tablet" buck
on March 3, 2014

For the processing power in a small form factor device this is very nice. Having full office to view and edit your documents have proven to be a necessity and the expandable memory is a catch all for those who don't like the idea of cloud memory via internet only in some cases..... Lets not forget you have a FULL desktop to work with (iTunes, 3rdparty programs) don't expect desktop performance but the flow and speed is up to snuff if you will. Applications are hit and miss because of the availability gap with Apple. For info surfing, productivity and overall good starter tablet this is it in my opinion.....did i mention MS office free with this thing :-)
Pros: Battery, Input/Output compatibility, Weight, Security Features, Included software, Software compatibility, Memory, Bluetooth, Screen size, Build Quality, Storage, Display resolution, Display performance, full desktop
Cons: apps

Great Win 8.1 tablet
on March 13, 2014

This is a very nice tablet. I have had it for a few weeks. GET THE 64 GB VERSION, the OS uses about 25 GB. You won't have much free in the 32 GB version.
Very bright and clear screen, quad core CPU is fast, having a full Windows computer in your hand is incredible. I have installed some of my desktop software, it works fine. Lots of good apps in the app store too. Long battery life.
I now have a Windows Phone, a Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet 2 and a Lenovo laptop with Win 8.1 too. Windows 8 is great, don't let the bad press it gets scare you. Even on my laptop I now prefer the start screen to the old start button and menu on the desktop.
No CONS that I can see.
Pros: Battery, Weight, Processor, Included software, Durability, Software compatibility, Memory, Screen size, Build Quality, Storage, Display performance

affordable portable windows tab
on June 19, 2014
Posted by: karteek
Pros: screen brightness, battery, price, full windows 8.1,micro SD expansion ,dedicated capacitive start button
Cons: lack of sufficient inbuilt storage, not full HD,
I use this tab for my regular browsing , email, one note, and remote desktop to azure VMs, you can get things done with the meagre power it offers. Viewing angles are decent. Front and rear cams are very good for video calls. Not to forget that it runs all day with single charge. A gorilla screen with fHD would be more exciting to have. games like asphalt 8, world of arms run without any lag. intel gave the sufficient power needed, but graphics are just average.

disappointed
on March 11, 2014

I am very disappointed in this tablet. I work with students with learning disabilities, and I thought, finally, a tablet that can run the special needs software at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, the tablet is very delicate. It obviously is not made of the same glass as the iPad. I only had it one day, and the screen cracked. over the years, I have had 6 idevices, without breakage. This tablet screen scratched so badly from just traveling in my pocketbook, and within a week, the screen is cracked. To make it worse, the cracks are spreading and affecting the tablet function. This tablet is too delicate for students, which is a shame.
Pros: Input/Output compatibility, Processor
Cons: Storage, Durability
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor reliability
on December 19, 2013
Posted by: Tabletguy
I bought this tablet a few weeks ago due to its excellent value and performance of the new Atom processor. The overall aesthetics of the tablet excellent. However I am disappointed after a few weeks ago since the table constantly freezes or crashes, I suspect driver issues. So till Lenovo addresses the reliability issues so the tablet doesn't constantly crash or freeze, I am giving this a poor rating.
Pros: Weight, Processor, Screen size
Cons: Wireless card, Software compatibility, Build Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
