On-off switch got stuck after 2 days

The on-off switch got stuck suddenly when it was pressed and failed to come back up. It had to be fixed by Lenovo service center eventually.
The touch screen sometimes does not respond.
Huge disappointment because it has only been purchased for 2 days and it went wrong!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchase mistake

Poor wifi reception compared to my laptop or Kindle fire. Had to send it back for repair after a short time. Will not always respond to finger or stylus pressure to open an app or other software. I'm not happy with the original unit and don't look foreword to getting it back.

Lenovo Miix 2 8 (IdeaPad, 8")

The Miix 2 8 is a great device if you intend to use it as a tablet but still want some of the features of a full PC on hand, while it would be at a disadvantage as a desktop or laptop replacement. As a tablet its ability to utilize the full Windows desktop ecosystem gives it a versatility unmatched by any lesser tablet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Could be better

Other than a few irritations, the tablet works as advertised. The touchscreen is "flakey" near the edges, the power button works most of the time, and, the Bluetooth interface quits working from time to time. As this is my first tablet, I am very impressed with the speed and reliability. Other than the Bluetooth issue - never crashed. This tablet was purchased to replace my 13 year old laptop and with a few "attachments", this little tablet does everything the laptop would do with power to spare.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A fine small Windows tablet

This tablet has worked well for me. Highlights include a nice, bright screen and long battery life. Works with a 64gb microsd card which I used to store a bunch of music files for vacation. Bluetooth connection to Bluetooth speaker works very well. Charges via USB.
Though I installed Classic Shell for easier use on the "old" desktop, I have used the new Start menu with tiles more often with this size Windows tablet.
My only issue has been the slightly finicky power button. Once my tablet wouldn't power up until I plugged in the ac adapter - battery must have been too depleted. Power button requires firm press until Lenovo logo appears.
Overall, a good tablet experience. Serves my very portable computing needs well. Get the one with more memory.

Very happy with tablet

My intentions when purchasing this tablet was to use as playing simple unwind at the end of the day games on the couch, a "recipe card" in the kitchen while following online recipes, a quick check of the weather and news headlines, etc. Lenovo has fulfilled all of my expectations. I find my tablet is used much more than my laptop these days as it powers up rapidly and is so much fun to swipe around the screens. I would recommend this tablet for it's usefulness and value.

When the charging, device unable to start!
