Bought it in April and as of now, it's been in the workshop for half the time i have owned it. The software is unreliable and crashed badly to the point i needed a total re-installation of windows followed by a full replacement of the motherboard. The whole experience has not been positive and I should have been more patient for newer hybrids with better functionality and battery life.
I bought this for work use since I travel a lot. The form factor is ideal, performance is barely adequate - I am missing many of the apps for news, weather, email client etc that makes life easier and more productive for me.
Maybe my expectations were too high. Will sell or trade it the first chance i get.

Screen brightness hurts the eyes

After about 6 months of having this awesome tablet, I found many problems that could have used some fixing; the main problem is the screen brightness. Even at low the brightness hurts the eyes after a while, I must be slowly going blind because of it. The ram makes this little computer amazing, but the processor has trouble running multiple apps. The design is nice, but the quality is a little sensitive, plus the company logo seems to be the only nice part on the whole product. My tablet has been dropped many times, and it starts looking ugly fast of it's dropped on its sides; plus it's impossible to keep certain parts from scratching without a case or screen protector. Although the speaker is full HD, it is not loud; my old Galaxy S3 has more of punch that the speaker in this tablet. The touchscreen shuts off when your figures are moist. It has trouble running constantly updated apps and web pages which also leads to many more crashes and touchscreen freezing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Touch screen makes things almost impossible to use

Overall this tablet is good and reliable (for a tablet). I tried it as a modern replacement for a desktop PC, but tablet productivity doesn't come ever close to productivity of desktop environment. And, as appeared later, I'm incompatible with touch screen, it makes much more difficult to achieve the simple tasks as closing tabs in browser or scrolling scroll bar for a few lines. Maybe this is Windows 8.1 problem. Clicking on tiny bottom arrow of the scroll bar (Firefox) more often minimizes browser or opens calendar than actually performs required operation, and tends to scroll by screen or one line, not a few. It takes 6-8 trials to get it done. The same with tabs in FF. Means impossible to get work done in a reasonable time. But tablet has a good battery life and it is portable to carry, I still use it for a kill the time browsing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Got it through the outlet site. Initial install didn't install wireless driver correctly, had to do a complete install. Lock screen would freeze up sometimes, making it impossible to log in. Only a micro usb port so you'll need an OTG adapter if you want to connect an external hard drive. Had a dead pixel on mine. But the biggest flaw was that the micro sd card wouldn't stay in enough to make a connection, leaving me with only 7 gb of available storage.
But maybe all this is because it was refurbished, i don't know. Ended up returning the item.

First of all the tablet has many glitches and is horrible to use because of this. Second when trying to conect a bluetooth device it never properly connects. After many months none of these problems have been fixed ether from updates or driver updates.

decent tablet

I bought the lenovo miix 2 11" for $650 (holiday sale thing). I like how it was easy to manage and easy to modify the icons. It is a bit heavy to travel with if you are a student. The magnet that connects the tablet to the dock is a bit weak when you are using it on display mode. When you connect the tablet with the dock for storage, the magnet is a bit tough to detach. The brightness can be really bright. It has decent cameras. The speaker isn't very loud compared to my hp pavillion g series laptop speaker. The power button is a pain. Once the tablet shuts down, it is very difficult to turn the tablet back on. I am also having troubles with charging the tablet with the products given to me by lenovo. Finally, it heats up pretty fast, but doesn't shut down due to the heat.

This tablet has everything I need/want. Part of my New Year's resolution is to spend more time on it rather than my Lenovo Laptop. :) I'm a Lenovo girl I guess! I'm definitely a fan for life!
