I have used both sides (gas/charcoal) several times and it has to be the best grill I have owved. Come home and throw on a Brat on gas side and its ready with nof fuss or mess. Weekends doing slow cooked ribs on charcoal side is perfect. Note: Gas line was crimped when it arrived but straightened itself when grill was completely put together.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I absolutely love n y grill, my husband purchased my grill as a Christmas gift, and I have been grilling ever since. My family is eating healthier and dinner is ready faster. We are a busy family with football practices and games every week, bowling leagues, and everyday errands and chores. I can get home at 7pm and still have dinner ready by 7:45 or 8:00. I love to grill am my Char-Broil is not just a grill it's a family member. I've even named her Betty.

This is the perfect grill for me. I can use gas or charcoal or both at the same time. When I saw this concept I knew I had to have one. Bought it last November and have gone through 2 gas bottles and 140 pounds of charcoal already. Living in L.A. means its always grilling season. I would even be willing to pay more for this grill if the quality was upgraded in some areas. The doors are a little on the weak side and the wheels are way too small. I did look at several makes and styles of this type of unit, some more expensive and some cheaper. As far as I'm concerned I choose the right one after all things are considered.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wasted money

Bought this grill about 2 years ago, the bottom has rusted out as well as the tents. The thin metal and paint couldn't hold up to the occasional flare ups you get when cooking hamburgers. Thought it would of lasted longer but I definetely wouldn't buy it again.

Bought this grill about two years ago. Spent a lot of money to get the one I wanted. I've smoked turkeys, brisket, pork roasts, and chicken on it. All with great results! However, the deflector plates on the gas side and the tray that holds the coals on the charcoal side are completely rusted out rendering it to be useless . Not sure if I want to spend any more money on it. I would think there would be better materials used for the money I spent on it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Damaged right out of the box!

Recently purchased this grill & was immediately disappointed when after assembling it half way, I noticed that BOTH hoods were dented & scratched. Also, a couple of the bolts were unable to be threaded so I had to replace them. Too much effort to pack it all back up and return it so I will just chalk it up to a lesson learned....you get what you pay for. As for the cooking, it works just fine. P.S. this thing is super heavy and will require 2 people to move & assemble.

Not built very well

Over all grill is not built very well! The wheels will not support the grill, they will not roll and when you do try to roll the grill the wheels fold over. Very poor manufacturing!

My husband loves it! It's a large grill and he loves the option for gas, coals, and even stovetop for frying outside. We haven't had it long so I cannot comment on the rusting.
