Once I changed the grates to porcelain coated cast iron at my expense it became an outstanding grill. Fast to heat up, easy to maintain a cooking temperature, and a perfect size for a small family.

I love my Charbroil Grill. It is the best grill thus far. The quality of the parts used are by far better than the other grill makers out there. I love the way these grills cook evenly and hold the heat inside the grill.

I bought this a year ago and have regretted it ever since. It is flimsy, there is high flame and low flame and almost nothing in between. The igniter button hasn't worked properly since day one and char broil won't work with me to replace. The grates get to hot and have warped. Save your money and don't bother with this grill. I just bought a much better one for a lot less money from a rummage sale and it works so much better
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There is no low heat. Even on the lowest setting it gets to over 600 degrees. Hard to cook that fast at that heat
