The Yoga 8 - Sleek, Perky and Productive

The Yoga 8 is a delightful product to use. The display is bright, crisp and easy to see. The cpu is fast and response time keeps right up with my expectations. The Yoga 8 is lightweight and fits into my bag easily so it is always there when I need it. Love this device for email, web and all kinds of apps!

Now that I've owned this for about six months, I feel I can safely say this was a great purchase. The tablet is lightweight, very fast, with excellent screen resolution, great sound, and holds a charge for days. I've also dropped it a few times, but it still looks and acts like I just took it out of the box.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Most underrated Tablet ever !

I owned many tablets incl. Samsung but also many China brands due to my work as Android Rom Modder.
This is the first device i had no desire to Root or modify in any way. I own a 8" and a 10" and i could be happier, its flawless, software and hardware are exceptional. Lenovo's unique additions to the Android OS makes these Devices a pleasure to work with.
What i like the best is the Battery life, 2 days of continues heavy use ? no problem, a month or more on Standby, sure thing. It has hands on the best Battery life of any Tablet/Laptop/Phone etc. its Amazing, it surpasses iOS Devices by far and any other Android Device out there.
Buy with confidence, you cant go wrong with this one.

The Yoga has some excellent features. I like the way it feels in the hand, though it works less well on its stand or just on a surface. The battery life is very good, though not quite what is advertised. I find the software rather clunky and to use many of the features you have to run what Lenovo wants you to run and link it to other platforms, etc. It's exceptionally hard to customize and turn off features. I do not regret buying the Yoga, in any way, but I did not get more than I paid for.

I am a long time IBM/Lenovo user and never seem to be disappointed with anything I purchase. This laptop is sleek, light and powerful. Does everything I thought and more. Great purchase. The only thing I would want to add to this is the ability to offer a digitizer pen as I also have a thinkpad tablet 2 with the pen but would be great to have all this in one unit as I also have a T520 which is just too big but and doesn't offer note taking. I know you offer one on the Thinkpad Yoga 12.5 model but really like this 13.3 size screen which makes it great when I use with client's. Add that feature and it would have everything needed. The track pad definitely is different than ones I've had before so it takes some time to get used to.

I purchased the Yoga 8 simply for the design. The asymmetrical case that places the bulk of the weight in your hand is superior to the typical tablet flat design and offers superior battery capacity. What I don't like; the SD card slot is a pain to work with as the card slides all the way in and you cannot remove without opening the case and pushing the card out, the screen resolution is adequate but inferior to virtually all of the competitors, the shiny metal case could do with some texture to make it more comfortable and easier to grip in your hand. It's a reasonably good device, but maybe more of a design novelty.
