Battery does not last a year!!!

Even though I put it to the charger over night it is not fully charged. About half...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worth the money and better than an IPad

I love the fact it small and sleek. It has all the necessary components and features I need for work. The only issue I have is that sometimes the google explorer sometimes crashes. I especially love the fact I have and can expand the memory. I have movies for my kids and myself on it without having to worry about space. I do wish I would have purchased the ten inch yoga tablet though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Versatile Wonder Tablet

I really love my Yoga tablet.
The best thing is the battery capabilities... My tablet survived my movie marathon when I had more than 10 hours road trip from San Francisco, CA to Grand Canyon, AZ. That's the main reason I bought it.

The unique yoga positions are phenomenon! Hand free when I want to, slightly titled when I'm typing my lectures. Very handy than reading a book. I can even put behind the car headrest so it looks like mounted on the car seats.
The connectivity from my laptop is easy, to my phone there both sync and I like the easy user interface and navigation. Well fit on my needs.
I can use it anywhere and everything from presentation, taking notes, meetings, portfolio reviews to watching movies, sound trip, to playing games. It's wonderful!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best value for the price

Very well designed. The battery lasts long. Pre-installed apps are well selected. The only thing I hope to add is a keyboard case similar as Yoga Tablet 10. But there are some keyboards built by other companies as substitute.
I would recommend this to a friend!

You can listen to music while you play games and do work and it doesn't freeze or even slow down. It's lightweight and holds its battery charge very well.

Poor Quality Control

I have owned two of the Yoga 8's. The first I purchased and loved for 3 months, except for the very poor GPS and limited range of the wireless.
And then, Voilà! It bricked itself. Lenovo was prompt in sending me another unit. It had the same issues with GPS and wireless. And then, Voilà! It bricked itself.
The battery life is phenomenal. The unit life is dismal. Reliability should be zero stars.
