Comparing to ipad, it's obviously bad. the screen first is in a low revolution, and the performance is slow. sometimes it takes 10 seconds to an app. The only thing I feel good is the design. Don't recommend

I LOVE my Yoga 8 Tablet! It is all that I wanted in a tablet and more. One of the best features for me is the amazing battery life. It is so nice being able to go for weeks without needing to charge it. I use an iPad for work and it needs recharging almost every day. It is so refreshing getting so much usage out of my Lenovo tablet. The screen resolution is very clear and it has good video quality. I did end up downloading a different launcher (Nova) because I did not like the one that comes pre-installed on the tablet. I found that doing that fixed a lot of the issues that led to other negative reviews of the tablet. The rounded edge to accommodate the kickstand/battery also makes the tablet really comfortable to hold for long amounts of time. This is especially handy when I am reading. I am so happy with the tablet and all it has to offer. It is definitely one of the best value tablets on the market right now. I recommend it to all my friends and colleagues. :)

Best tablet ever!

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to give you my review. I've had my tablet for almost a year now and I don't put it down anywhere. It's always with me and it never fails me. A few weeks ago, I made the mistake of putting it on my pants pocket and got into my car. The steering wheel was too close to the seat so I put too much pressure on the tablet against the wheel. Needless to say, I cracked the glass around the center of the display. I almost cry because I couldn't blame any of my kids for it, except myself! Lol. Nevertheless, I still use it all the time since I don't have the budget to fix it nor buy a new one. There isn't a game or app that can't be installed or played and since upgraded to KitKat, this thing is invincible. I tip my hat to you, Lenovo, for creating such an affordable wonder in the technology world. My dream is to get the 10" Yoga with the keyboard, but it has to wait a bit. Again, thanks for the opportunity and keep up the good inventions... Jose Charriez

The Good:
The battery life is amazing, and the quad processor, seems to handle everything I have thrown at it, including 3d rendering. The folding stand is convenient, and the sound is crisp clear loud and even deep at times.

The not so Good:
The Data storage is upgradeable, however It will not run programs off of it. Making it useless except for video and pictures only. The picture camera and video are sub par, making the upgradeable memory that much more useless. So pretty much the only good thing it is for is video storage from the Internet.

Overall:
Powerful enough to run almost any app, but if you are a power user you will likely fill up the space quickly. If you download and watch a lot of movies off the Internet or your computer to watch on the road, this is ideal. Not for taking pictures or video.

This tablet offers what I need (reading, web browsing, and writing msg/email) and has been very reliable during the past 7-8 months that I've had it. The battery lasts amazingly long (>14 hrs of continuous reading, 3-4 days of moderate use, and 1 week of light use)and the screen resolution is satisfactory.

Very Happy with this Tablet

Purchased a Lenovo ThinkPad this Spring because it had so many great features. So when I decided to get my first tablet, I wanted another Lenovo product and the Yoga fit my needs perfectly.
It's lightweight, is perfect to take with me every day. Sound quality great, easy to use, downloads simple. Very satisfied with this. Camera is takes decent photos and the battery has the longest life of any of my devices!
I would recommend this to a friend!
